Second year LISOF Fashion Media student Boitumelo Thindiza is the voice behind the fashion and art blog cristallikethechampagne, which has definitely become one of my favorite blogs to visit this far. Her style of blogging is raw and authentic which compliments her youthful and edgy side. New to the game of blogging, Tumi which she calls herself wishes to grow into an inspiring blogger which caters to everyone who has a deep meaningful love for fashion and art. I caught up with Tumi to find out more about her blogging career.

1.     What inspires your posts?

“Fashion, art, culture and people with passion for everything they do.”

2.     What would you say is your favorite post to date?

Tumi describes that her favorite blog was on the Sade inspired post with model Katlego as she played role as creative director, makeup artist and photographer. “I was inspired by the deck of cards mainly which anticipated the overall Sade concept.”

3.     What are your greatest achievements outside blogging?

“My greatest achievements this far is the journey of self-discovery of the person I am growing towards.”

4.     Where would you like to be in blogging five years from now?

“My hopes for cristallikethechampagne five years from now are to have a larger following and the opportunities to collaborate with some of the top bloggers in South Africa as well as with my fellow peers in the industry.”

Here’s a brief history of who I am, what I do and why we should be friends. My name is Tiphani and I am a fashion Student at LISOF with a passion for fashion and everything art.

Finding things that others toss aside is where the game starts. I love the challenge of using what I find to create something entirely different.
