i coulda been really good at math or smth but i've just got goregrind autism
Odd question maybe, probably as I've not found an answer to my exact questions but anyway.
Does anyone know how often benign brain growth needs to be scanned? Specifically Lipomas. I know it's grown in the past couple years by a few mm but I'm not sure when I should get it rescanned. Last MRI & CT was in 2021 so I feel like it's reasonable to request one.
My doc isn't much help, she was of the opinion I didn't need to know it existed and should be living blissfully unaware. Honestly the only reason I'm questioning if it needs to be rescanned is because of her reaction and the fact it's a lipoma in an inoperable area.
But it's growing and that's scary
LIPOMA-LEAVING LEPROSY LAND
So, I’m writing and watching Dr. Pimple Popper, and I just have the urge….Please, someone get a cyst or a lipoma so I can pop it 🤏😭

You guys want to see Jack’s lipoma? It’s HUGE.
Is apoquel a safe option for a dog who has multiple lipomas? Mine is on it, as prescribed by my vet, but I recently heard something about a side effect that causes tumors to worsen. Is this something I should be concerned about? Or is this something really rare and the benefit is worth it?
gettingvetted here.
Apoquel is somewhat immunosuppressive and may or may not contribute to allowing certain cancers to grow. However, if the lipomas are benign, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. There are other prescription allergy medications you can try if this possibility is a deal-breaker for you.
me watching Dr. Pimple Popper: ah that seems to be a lipoma
Dr Lee: Looks like a lipoma!
me: yes, a lipoma, my favourite!
