Window rules in KDE
KDE is linux desktop and its flawed but has most configure options (both via GUI and text files I think).
Sometimes you shoot yourself to leg. For me it was general rule that applied to some programms (running with windows but initialized with shell script). It opened it in 2nd activity (another KDE speciality). But when I removed the 2nd activity, I could find anyhow the program window or use it.
I found it pretty easily. System settings -> Window behaviour -> Window rules -> some criptic rule. The system settings dashboard is inpired by MacOS X, but its 10 times user friendly.
