🤥: OOOH okay so ..i think zachary is Just Okay at lying. He's definitely good at keeping his mouth shut but the autism doesn't lend itself to his tone of voice very well. honestly he's always really monotonous and delayed when he speaks so he kind of always sounds like he's hiding something 😭 but he's really good at concealing physical strain and he isn't very expressive. he can definitely get away with lies of omission, but when he's pressed for details he can't make up stories on the spot.

i think jasper would actually suck balls at lying. the only person he can get to believe his bullshit is linne on account of her being baby and she doesn't really even believe him, she just knows she's never getting a straight answer about what happened with their parents out of him. He's hesitant and his voice quivers and his eyes get all wide when he starts bullshitting. it's a problem. he's so pathetic

👻: Having lost a parent & struggling to move on from that definitely complicates zachary's relationship with grief, death and the existence of an afterlife. While I wouldn't say he necessarily like believes in ghosts, I think he definitely has an attachment to his father that's very real because they were so close when he was alive. so not really a white-sheet ghost but kind of a ghost in the walls so to speak.

Jasper doesn't harbor that same kind of grief, but being that he read a lot as a child, he has the kind of imaginative mind and a kind of longing for the past that makes room for things like ghosts in a more classic way. Being that he's a neurotic teenager who likes to hang out in the woods (started as a way to stay away from home, ended up doing it for love of the game) he's probably definitely had a couple encounters that were a little hard to explain without the supernatural.

💐: OOH what a fun one. let me actually start with jasper here because I have a better idea for him. For some reason I've always associated him with white lilies even though their symbolism doesn't really lend itself that well to his story. i guess they're occasionally used to represent renewal and transformation but usually in a passing on in death way as opposed to a starting a new chapter/becoming a new person way. but um you know white lilies for vibes. pansies have a long, long history of queer masculinity, I think it would be present in both their bouquets you know it just works. I'm a little lost on anything else...honeysuckle feels very him it's definitely a summer flower he's got those summer associations, I think he'd like honeysuckles those would probably be his favorite. Maybe some wildflowers like white clover and dandelion just for that outdoorsiness he's got in him, and they represent resilience.

zachary...idk. I heavily associate him with cherries (more on that in a second) so definitely cherry blossoms, & pansies like I just said...but apart from that I'm not really sure. I'm hesitant to say roses because of their hefty connotation with traditional romance it feels a little shallow, but they do suit his general aesthetic + have ties with the transgender community as well as them being like, the kind of flower you give to somebody in the hospital... am I right about that or are those carnations. actually carnations might be good for them I know they have some really heavy connotations of love and loss. I know spider lilies represent the boundary between life and death, zachary has all that grief going on so that works for him, again those edgy vampiric aesthetics too. JUST REMEMBERED DRACULA ORCHIDS EXIST sure those work if only for aesthetics. as for an actual favorite of his though I think he'd like tiger lilies his favorite color is orange. i don't know I feel like flower symbolism just doesn't lend itself very well to zachary so I'm mostly going with aesthetics here. what are those little white filler flowers you see in Valentine's bouquets? baby's breath? that works pretty well cause those are pretty but like lethal aren't they. I'm really tired and you're seeing my raw thought process right now hold on im going to go grab some caffeine

🥞: the first thing jasper ever successfully learned to cook was scrambled eggs so linne had a lot of that growing up especially on days where he babysat her, so that's my answer for her. for jasper himself though I am not so sure... I feel like presently he either calls a cereal bar breakfast or skips it entirely 😭 for the sake of answering the question though, let me focus more on the comfort part and say I think he would just like it if somebody made breakfast for him at all

🍓: yes!!! zachary loves his fruits and vegetables he's a salad boy. cherries are his favorite. he's got a sweet tooth so he doesn't really like acidic or citrus fruits though, but he does enjoy those richer ones

💗: ooh interesting...not sure if I should answer these wrt to their relationship or about them in a vacuum? a crush is less obvious in jasper because he's already a very social, committed & giving person. being that he's borderline though I think developing a real head-over-heels crush would make him kind of intense and volatile, simultaneously more affectionate and more paranoid & insecure. with Zachary though it's a little more obvious & a little more predictable, having a real intense crush makes him actually want to let someone in & not be so cold and cagey. the primary difference here though is that jasper having a crush would be pretty obvious externally but by nature of zachary's behavior that would only be something that his crush would notice because he'd only let it be that person.
