       his search for the sword had been halted for a spell as he searched for the source of the holy stone. the very item that had been used to cure some of his malfested villagers, the ones he had brought his plague upon in his madness and grief. but determination drove him. he would not have this taken from him too. it had been called empire du milieu back home, the middle empire. the holy stone had seemed to originate here. though he knew little of the language, he had picked up enough information through the merchants to find where he needed to go. however, even with that information, he seemed to have gotten lost along the way. he found himself at the foot of a mountain, a strangely attired man within his sights. perhaps he could direct him on the right path... or perhaps he could feed off him, either way he’d prove useful.                                                    ❝ you there! tell me what is this place? ❞
