Revolver stands beside the bed the girl had been resting on. Having undone the virus he placed in her to allow her to regain consciousness again. Had she the strength to, of course. Until he felt the need to reinstate it. 

Blue Angel was merely just a tool at the moment.  Nothing more, nothing less. 

But perhaps she could hold more potential if he gave the girl a chance to prove herself worthy of being more than just a bargaining chip to sway the odds in his favor. Either way, she was useful as is so he wouldn’t be at a loss if not.

You have got to be kidding, Kusanagi.

“You watched the duel in the van. Didn’t you? You know the answer.”

Why the hell did Kusanagi and Ai start this stupid back and forth about him not being able to talk to girls anyway? It’s not like there was any weight to it. Guy, girl, someone in-between or not at all in the gender binary.. beyond Kusanagi and his brother, and… well. Apparently Aoi, now, he went out of his way to go without speaking to others as much as he could get away with – even to his own AI partner hostage. 

He did his best to avoid talking to pretty much anyone. So why the hell were girls such a big deal to the two of them?

Besides, they lost. As much as he’d never admit it to them, and he was fighting with himself to avoid admitting it, he already cares for Aoi’s wellbeing. Something wasn’t right with that girl, Knights of Hanoi in her deck or otherwise. Perhaps joining Duel Club wouldn’t be a waste of his time after all.

“Oh. What’s this? The charisma duelist known as Blue Angel has been spotted in MY path? This will be entertaining....maybe Akira will finally realize that I’m not an enemy to mess with,” the words came out clearly, despite the complete face mask.

Aqua tilts her head curiously as Aoi changes her secret avatar back to her idol self, the memory she had been gifted from Miyu resurfacing briefly thanks to a certain detail in the duelist’s avatar – specifically her pigtails. What made is strange, however, wasn’t the fact that Aoi’s online persona wore the same hairstyle from when she was a kid; it was that Aqua’s own design resembled Aoi’s own.

Had that been Miyu’s doing all along?
