Stripping down. And ready to spill the beans. My fiance was just like: "Let's go to bed. Long day tomorrow.. " I replied: "Just a second. I've just promised to tell my IG friends how my bachelor defense went." And he's like: "Isn't your guests tomorrow more important?" Me: 😒😒😒 Anyhow.. I don't know if you're even interested, but I feel like sharing with you. My partner and I met the day before, prepared and practiced. I got nervous just looking at the presentation.. And I'm not normally nervous about exams in particular. But I guess because it was our final one. And I just didn't know what to expect. People kept telling us we'd written a good product, and I agreed, but just didn't know to which standards it would be compared. But our examination went well. We kept our time, said what we'd planned and felt the communication with the examinators was a pleasant dialogue, where we explained our interest in the subjects and answered questions. Time was up. We waited outside while they discussed. Family standing further down waiting for us to come out of the hallway. There's 10 minutes scheduled for the examinators to discuss our grade. 10 minutes passed, then 5, then another 5. Other students came out from their exam, waited and was called back in. New students passed us to have their exam. But our door didn't open. Another examinator impatiently waiting outside with us. He needed the room for the next exam. 20 minutes passed time. We'd just decided to go out to our family and wait, when the door opened and we were asked inside. We feared what the long discussion meant. But then our supervisor started praising our work. Grades in Denmark go -3, 00, 02, 4, 7, 10 and 12. 02 is passed, 12 is the best grade. They gave us 10. Our supervisor had argued and pointed out trying to reason with our other examinator, but she couldn't be reasoned with, unfortunately. Anyway. We were super relieved and happy and went on drinking champagne and celebrate that we're now finished and can call ourselves pedagogues!
