30. How paranoid is your OC? How does this affect their daily life?

I have a couple paranoid characters, I suppose LimeWind is the best example. She’s an animal, a sort of winged feline called ferie, and she has been hunted for most of her life which made her very weary of her surroundings.

Feries are generally devided in those born with magic and those born with wings, but sometimes it so happens that one is born with both. These feries are called skirials, they are taller and far more powerful than regular magic-users and thus they eventually became the ruling elite of their… I don’t know if I should call it kingdom but that’s the human counterpart. Almost everyone of nobility is a skirial and they soon passed a rule to have all skirial cubs killed at birth not to threaten their rule. And skirials are born very rarely so that went with much resentment but no revolt.

LimeWind was one of these skirial cubs, her parents managed to keep her hidden until she was about seven but she yearned to go out of her house and see the city, so eventually she snuck out one night and was found and chased by guards into a forest. But feries don’t ever go into the forest because they would be hunted by kyvers (sort of reptiles), so now LimeWind has to survive at seven something that most of her peers would die to as adults. She does manage this obviously, but a childhood of fear and hiding in the city and a life of fighting for survival every day made her very weary and paranoid. Still, she has plans to return and get some revenge.
