Last night Limelighter put on an amazing event! Hosted in her Mardaloop home, Tammy Winterfield planned the entire event that proved to be one of the most incredible house concerts I have been able to play - thank you Tammy!
Picture this : Art Gallery and refreshments in the basement ( including hot chocolate and tea to accommodate the not so warm weather), a stage outside, coloured lights on every large beautiful tree surrounding the stage, seated chairs, and a bon fire to once again - make sure everyone could feel their fingers.
Aside from the expected draw backs of performing outside (my fingers were soooooooo cold!!!) it was a phenomenal experience! I am only just getting into the 'arts' scene in Calgary, and I was truly blown away by both how many talented artists we have in our city, as well as the amount of support there is! It was incredible to see so many people come out and show their support on a holiday weekend (its thanksgiving up here) and on a relatively chilly night....definitely gave me a lot to be thankful for.
I was able to meet and make some new fans last night and I really want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and love. I do this because it makes me happy...and to have you enjoy my music (and my humour) provides me with endless ambition to keep doing my thang <3
Make sure to check out Limelighters website to find out more about all of the artists and musicians that participated in last nights event....which included the super awesome Georgia Sound and Broken Record (there was also another act who has yet to choose a name - but i imagine once they figure out their shiz its going to be pretty dope) and again...thanks for stopping by!
