I can't believe it's already March. So much to do and so little time. Who else feels like time is slapping us in the face?! Argh, well there's not much else to do but hustle, so here's an update on what's been going on!

Come to think of it, this has organically grown into a monthly thing now, which is great. Being able to regularly share snapshots of how things are going in the Lime Tree Bower world... news, updates and what exciting things I've got planned, helps me feel that I'm not alone in all this and also enables me to be more accountable for my own goals.

So February. Now that was a crazy month. I did two markets in one month (a first for me), at the Kirribilli markets and Picnic markets. A little secret for you readers: make sure to pencil in March 28th, the plan is to do Kirribilli again!

The online shop has also been updated - you'll find it filled with a variety of flower crown designs I currently have for this season. 

All handmade, air dried from fresh flowers and can be worn time and time again. Perfect for a night out, festival, wedding or just because.... plus, they smell divine!

And the biggest news of all? We're now selling in a shop - you can find some of our goods at The Makery, which are the same guys behind Work-Shop. An awesome concept, it's a retail store on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst (about 15mins walk from Town Hall station) that allows local makers, artists and designers to sell their creations. 

You'll find candles, tea, clothing, jewellery, kitchen linen.... and now Lime Tree Bower flower crowns there! 

Whilst terrariums are no longer something that I focus on, there'll be a limited range available for sale at The Makery. Just because I love making them and a lot of you are still asking for them, so I haven't quite completely parted with them ;)

Hey guys, hope you're all having a beautiful week so far! 

In my corner of the world, things are going well and I've been busy prepping for some upcoming markets - I'll be at the Kirribilli markets this Sunday Feb 8th with Lime Tree Bower :)

There'll be plenty of flower crowns (dried AND fresh ones) and pretty posies - including some Valentine's Day samplers!

I'd love to see you there! 

I've actually never been to these markets myself so I'm not sure what to expect - hopefully some good weather at the very least. 

And do you guys know of Seventh Tree Soaps? I'm actually going to be sharing a stall with them, so if you're in need of some beautiful hand crafted soaps, candles or lip balms to go along with your crown or blooms... umm, then you know where to find us! :)

New website & newsletter!

On other related news, the website has recently gone through a big makeover. It's much more beautiful now and I've added more examples of my work - plus there's a shop!

I think I totally forgot to mention this on here, but guess what? I finally listed some of my terrariums up on Etsy! I can't even remember when I eventually got to it, perhaps some time late January? Better late than never :)

Etsy has always been a bit of a doozy for me, up until now I'd never sold anything on there but I've since made a handful of sales with Lime Tree Bower! It's a good feeling - finally getting the store up and running, successfully spreading the terrarium love and delivering the packaged goods to its new owners.  

At the moment, there are five of the hanging glass ones, plus an apothecary jar one filled with succulents (my favourite) available to purchase online. I've got so many new ideas and inspirations though, so it's really exciting and I can't wait to create some new ones soon to add to the collection.

If anyone has anything in particular they are looking for and would like me to create, please do let me know! One friend wants me to create some Japanese marimo ball ones, so that's next on my list. I also recently purchased a whole stash of various succulent cuttings, so I've been extending my range of interesting plants too. That's the best part, being able to pick and choose various plants and putting them together to create living art!

What are you doing this Saturday, if you're in Sydney? The Lonely Hunter markets will be on at Newtown Social Club and I'll be there - as a seller! :) I'm so incredibly excited to do this little self promo. It'll be my first markets with Lime Tree Bower, so it's a teeny bit daunting but simultaneously, I also cannot wait! I'll be spending tomorrow preparing for it: getting all the terrariums ready, packaging and preparing the bits and pieces for the table display.

There'll be a bigger range of terrariums than what I've currently got listed online, including some really mini hanging ones that can double as tree ornaments! So if you want to come feel out the range in person, see some new stuff or just want to pop by to say hello, come along! I'm super excited!!! The competition to vote for the new Lime Tree Bower logo has come to a close and thank you so much to everyone that took the time to participate, it's been a great help! There ended up being two logos that were the clear majority but option #5 ended up winning by just a few votes:

I've already started using the logo on paper bags, so thank you to everyone again for your kindness and support. I really do hope you enjoyed taking a part in helping drive the decision for my new baby: Lime Tree Bower!

Whilst on the topic of terrariums, I spent last weekend making quite a few for two orders and decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and reshoot some better product photos for the shop. I'll be updating the photos online later this weekend, but I'm too excited so here's an early look:

Meanwhile... I've also been working on some limited edition terrariums! I present to you a sneak peek of PLANTS IN SPACE! Think particular alien-like succulents and bright fungi growing in the galaxy. What do you guys think? I really think it's my favourite one I've created so far:
