Me as dante , but instead of having a prosthetic nor being able to bring the sinners back i ate an apple who gave me unlimited knowledge in exchange of ???(not decided yet , actually my own lore is the most vague for now)

Yi sang: ok so for my oc that could fit his place within the company/personality i think that mizar might be the best candidate , he is quite unserious despite looking like it but is also very knowledgeable and resourceful

Faust: i had such a hard time with this but I think that Delphi fits the best , she is a very skilled Prophet in the actual lore and therefore knows a lot about a lot of things , her personality is also more akin to Faust than my 2 other prophets/very knowledgeable characters

Don: ok so for her im picking façalys since he is the god of protection so I feel like its really in line with her as a character and maybe her motives within the company (unsure yet as I havent reached her canto)

Ryoshu: dhssjhdd I thought about it for a while and I think Oshin is the best fit , like personality wise theyre both harsh and quick but also strategic

Meurseault: uhhh he is lowkey a nothingburger at rhe point im at in the story , so far hes just been well racist . So uhhh instead im gonna put . I think in this scenario I will put Ivyre . She is very cold and doesnt speak much unless spoken to and she isnt racist so definitely an improvement .

Hong lu: MY HUSBAND RAAHHH , sigh for him i think that uhhh Çyrizan is the best pick , he reminds me of Hong lu a bit and I have the urge to best him up so , makes sense

Heathcliff: UUGGHH ARRGHH I feel like Michael is my best pick here , he is very abrasive and hot headed like heathcliff and both got that traumatized swag

Ishmael: qjshqjjqnnnn I was thinking about Rose but I wanna reserve her for outis , so I think that perhaps , Jeanne would fit here , she is one of my many darling daughters and I love her

Rodya: RODYA !!! uhhh i tried thinking about it and i think that would work here is kerlei, she is the goddess of imperfections and is very hot headed and doesnt really listen to others , she also eats a lot because she used to be dirt poor sigh

Sinclair: ngl I lowkey had forgot about sinclair , so uhhh i think that Uhhhh Rana would work here , storywise and personality wise . He is just perfect

Outis: YESSSS here im putting Rose my queen sigh , I love her so much and she fits outis so well omg this is awesome

Out of all of the side characters in Limbus, one of my favorites still has to be Yuri. Her story of being a Lob Corp Agent does fit with the fact the game (ofc) follows the sinners going through the old lobotomy corporation facilities to find the golden boughs. But what makes her so special to me was how she really acted with Gregor during the first bit of the game. Aside from all the stuff going on in Gregors Canto, it still felt somewhat about him, even though there was other stuff going on too. I feel like Yuri shines best in the final part of canto 1 in the dungeon. If Gregors canto had come later, I imagine that we would’ve had her as an ally in the story of the dungeon, sort of like how Jia Xichun was our ally in Canto 7, or how Kira was our ally in Twinning Threads. Unfortunately, she wasn’t, which feels like a lot of missed opportunities to make her more unique than just a grade 8 fixer the LCB had hired. Then, of course, we got a little development of her through the canto, where she sorta grew more interesting and sort of a backbone. Obviously, canto 1, particularly the dungeon bits were very short, so the development is mainly between her and Gregor, who didn’t accomplish much by the end of his canto. Truthfully, I think the first 3 cantos didnt do much for their respective sinners. Gregor had more development over the game but mainly in the Unsevering and Twinning Threads. Rodion is the same way, but she got hers in Time Killing Time. Sinclair, arguably, had the most, but that isnt much since he was pretty barebones at the start. Anyway, Yuri and Gregor becoming friends and starting to actually care for one another, like when Gregor gave Yuri the gas mask to save herself, knowing only the Sinners could survive it due to Dante and his clock bullshit. This is particularly meaningful since Gregor definitely was in pain, as we the other sinners. Obviously, after yuri and the golden apple merge, and the apple is defeated, I think we see Gregors desperation for his friend to survive the apple, as it’s killed off screen by Gregor, who was trying to cut the apple open for Yuri, trying to safe her. Obviously, she was dead asf, but it’s the thought that counts. Particularly from Gregor, since, ever since the end of the smoke war, Gregor was, (get this one) and Outcast. Likely, before the LCB, this was probably the truest thing he had to a friend. Maybe someone at his old job in the office building like Tim, as we saw in Twinning Threads, was a friend, but not like Yuri.

Conclusion: yuri is pretty yuriful
