Started watching old Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner, Albert Brooke's, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Billy Crystal John Candy, Penny and Gary Marshall movies this last summer, movies I grew up watching with my parents, nostalgic and cozy movies. Cringe culture can probably devour any old movie, and it has its place in keeping the future in check, but there was something about going backwards and finding artists free-range comedy thats been very comforting to me recently, a type of soul that seems few and far between now a days. Here's one from Carl Reiner I watched tonight cuddled up with my partner and poodle that I laughed a lot to. Steve's physical comedy in this really shines.
