"i know you probably hate me right now but i don’t have anyone else to talk to."

  “i was jealous, okay? i was jealous.” somehow, even after saying it out loud twice, lily didn’t feel any better. she only felt more riled up and on edge. she let out a rather flat laugh and shook her head. “i was jealous and don’t act like you didn’t know.”

“hey there bud, how'd it go last night? i'm sorry to have ditched out but i was pretty high.” and, if given the slightly dazed look in her eyes, lily might still be a little high. that could explain her bravery for even starting this conversation. “though... we didn't talk much, how'd your evening go? you barely spoke a word to me besides that slurred, hello.”

“sometimes i think that... you know, i’d follow you to the end of the earth but i don’t even think you’d walk me to the end of the street. does that make sense?”

“i won’t bite... unless you’re into that sort of thing.”

“so...” lily couldn’t say when it had become awkward for the two of them to have a conversation. sometime in between the kisses and everything else that followed after that for sure but she still did her best to act normal. it was understandable why things were so strange but she did her best to keep them somewhat normal. however poorly. “you got any plans tonight?” she asked in aid of sparking up some conversation, focused more on sipping at her coffee instead of looking at them. 

“it’s not stealing if it was mine to begin with!”
