A part of me you shouldn't see || Peter and Stiles
It was wrong and he knew it, oh how he did, but he couldn't help himself. Even as a beta there was always this underlying feeling- a need to rip and tear into something, to break it beyond repair and he couldn't rid himself of it. Peter tried to hide it, tried to hide his more violent reactions, keep the threats and dark ideas safely locked inside his head. He did it all not for his own sake but for his family's. For his son and his girlfriend, their children, and for his own mate as well.
All of them had heard of what a monster he was but they'd never seen it. Recently as the days went by he began teetering on the edge between snapping and remaining sane. He had to find some way to relieve the pressure, a way to just give in with out loosing everything. That had come in the form of a lone hiker. The girl hadn't been severely hurt, a few scratches and no doubt a good dose of trauma but she was alive, which was more than Peter's first victims could say. The madness that had plagued him while he'd been an alpha had never left- and this was proof of it.
Unlocking the door to his apartment he could hear Stiles moving around inside- it made him pause. He was covered in dirt, leaves and blood, no way to hide what he'd done. Not that he particularly wanted to. The twisted part of him was pleased with what he'd done- but if there was anyone he wanted to keep this from it was Stiles.
