Bura was well aware of who this person was, the hair color was unmistakable.. in her timeline however, Trunks was a boy. This was the first time she had ever seen a female version, and quite frankly it peaked her interest. Catching her other-world older sister off going who knows where, Bura saw an opportunity she couldn’t pass up.

“Because I need someone to get ice cream with, and you seem to be free.”

Admittedly, it was always a bit strangest seeing an alternate version of himself,  he was sure the other Trunks he would happen across felt the same way.  His mind wandered about just how different a timeline was, or how it came to be. At the very least, it was always a viable point of conversation when need be. A small wave would be given to the other Trunks as she would emerge from her own time machine, at the very least, he was hopeful her situation wasn’t dire like his own had been. But then again, it was never possible to tell.

The woman took note of the others unease. Not entirely unexpected, but the demoness was not here to intimidate this mortal. In truth, quite the opposite. But if Sotarra was labelled as a threat then it didn’t matter what her true intentions were. 

“I know only the rumors of greater beings who have spoken of your courage to fight threats unknown to us and your ability to traverse the fabric of time. I wished to see such an admirable warrior for myself...”

The strange woman offered the other female a small smile. To carry an immeasurable weight on their shoulders... it was admirable. Yet she felt pricks of frustration gnaw at her heart at the prospect of this being reality for one so young.

He'd never quite adjust to another version of himself asking how he was, but at least her catching his injury was less embarrassing than other select individuals spotting it. At the very least, Trunks didn't think much of it, even if it did pique his alternate's curiosity.

Sliding the bandaged hand into his jacket pocket with a wince, he'd attempt to play off the question with a slight shrug, "Oh, well, you know- training, right? Always have to keep improving, no matter what the cost."

A pause, uncertain what to say for one moment, only to decide to fill the silence by attempting to keep the conversation more light hearted.

He hadn't heard her approach, too engrossed in what he happened to be doing by the time she spoke up. What exactly he was doing was simple: Taking apart his time machine in an attempt to ensure that everything was properly maintained.

Nonetheless, despite his slight surprise, he would give her a small smile and nod, if he was going to stay in her timeline for a while, there would certainly be no harm in having another pair of hands to work with, “Only if you want to, but it’s not terribly engaging.”

Stepping aside from the machine, he would allow her to look at the exposed panel of the machine, wiring hanging loose and pieces scattered about the place, it was clear he had been at it for a while.

“I’m trying to make sure everything’s good with mom’s machine. She made it well, but I want to ensure it’s all working properly, maybe even improve it a little if possible. The last thing anyone would want is this thing causing even more problems for the space-time continuum.”
