Coolway Trans running full kit, two refrigerated trailers hooked up and the livery doing all the talking — horsemen silhouetted on the first panel, Australian flags across the second. The sky behind it went full colour, that orange-to-purple burn you get in flat country when there's nothing on the horizon to interrupt it. One of those moments where the working machinery and the light end up doing something together you wouldn't plan for.

The perfect landing
A pale sulphur butterfly working a small pink daisy, wings flat and still enough to read every fine vein across the surface. The green buds on the stem below it hadn't opened yet, and the butterfly didn't seem bothered either way. The background has gone to soft blur, which keeps all the attention on that pairing of soft yellow and pink at the centre of the frame.
Mackay Marina QLD - Australia
A full marina, masts packed in tight along the pontoons, the water sitting calm and that particular blue-green you get in tropical Queensland harbours. Palm trees frame both sides of the shot, a rescue vessel visible at the near dock. The sky had gone flat and overcast, which actually helps here — no harsh shadows, and the greens in the garden beds hold their colour all the way to the edge.
Peach Coloured Bloom
One flower ahead of the rest, petals already peeled back to that soft peach-to-salmon fade while the buds on the stem behind it are still tight. The background has gone fully soft green, which keeps the eye on the cup of the bloom. Rekognition flagged rose, and the open form fits, though the narrow leaves and bud arrangement on the stem suggest something else in the family. Either way, the colour here does most of the work.
