This blog starts with a tragedy, because that’s the best way to start things. Except it isn’t, but what can you do.
The tragedy is this: my very fancy italian library as just implemented a way to borrow e-books. Which is great. No, it’s marvellous, a wonderful english word that english speaking people (natives? them, you know them, no need for me to be precise) really do not use often enough. I was very excited about it, as you can understand. I love libraries, I really like how the look, smell and taste, not that I have ever taste one, but I love them enough that I have no doubt about it. Thing is... my excitement lasted, like, two hours. The time that I needed to go to the actual library to ask how the hell was I supposed to start reading borrowed e-book, because of course there wasn’t really any clear instruction online. Turns out that I can’t use this service because my freaking library card has a bug and it seems like I didn’t gave back some books. Which I gave back. Of course I did. I got anxiety, I got a perfect score, mate. AIs are the future and mine is clearly a bright one.
So yeah, tragedy. I’m starting this blog out of spite. Enjoy!
(This blog has an italian version. You can find it here, it’s called saleeseta. It’s waaay better written, if you can speak italian, that is. If you can’t, just trust me. Please. I would feel better.)
