Fenris loves to get small presents for his amatus, like a flower or their favorite confection, and leave it where they can find it. He likes to do it simply because he can, but he doesn’t like to give it to them directly because he’s uncomfortable with the appreciation.

I'm not fond of the idea of every mage higgedly-piggeldy slicing themselves open and whipping up a few corpses just because there's no way to understand the extent of damage it might cause? something like this is a possibility but merits careful study and training imo. maybe in the supposed free mage future it would be blood magic that is regulated. not by the chantry, obviously, but by senior mages who know what they're doing? I just can't be all "go blood magic!" without knowing more about how it works
