i think he is too. i think he tries to hide it with a tough exterior but when he really likes you....all bets are off. old fashioned lover boy is coming OUT.
first of all. he's bringing you flowers on that first date. or chocolates. or something small/not too serious but thoughtful. then i think it sorta depends on your personality? but again, something thoughtful but not too intense. maybe dinner at a restaurant you love? or maybe one you've been wanting to try. could see it also maybe just being like cocktail/drinks at somewhere a lil nicer. i would say a movie or show but tbh i think that's saved for dates 3-6. he wants to know you a lil more. wants to hold your hand throughout the show. i think first date, he wants to get to know you (or if he already knows you...can spend time and get to know you in This Way), so somewhere you can talk. i think also a walk after dinner/drinks.....wants to be a gentleman and offer his arm to you and let you cling to him ohhhh he's falling apart.
