      "Think of it this way:" Simon began as he paced the length of his sister's cabin, lips pursing as his hand lifted, fingers curling in towards the heel of his palm. His mind ran in circles, thinking of anything and everything to avert his sister's attention away from the nightmares that inhabited her mind even despite fighting the lingering pain from the now-patched bullet wound in his leg.

      "I would have done the same thing if I were you, sans planning to launch him into space." His limping came to a momentary standstill as he paused, brows wrinkled in contemplation. 

                         " what kinda people have                              picnics   at   graveyards?                that's not a set up to a punchline               either.  the  answer  is  assholes.               gigantic assholes  who've  never               seen   a   ghost   movie   in  their                freakin' lives. " 

   to the average eye, it would appear small shoulders stifled to glance   wearily at passing vehicles— with the constant scrunch of a nose   much-too tiny and the twitch of arms all-too frail— it appears she might   be staring in one of those longing ways ; when, in reality, she’s staring  blankly at her reflection ( a pathetic girl on a pathetic buss at a pathetic  time of the night ). 

   she twists to you rather-suddenly, eyes not there, even though she’s   staring directly at you.
