One thing i'd love to see more of in regards to scriddler is Edward's OCD, specifically portrayals of it that don't lean into cleanliness/health anxiety stereotypes. Some people with OCD do have those obsessions, but they're also so commonly portrayed in OCD representation that it does affect how the disorder is seen.
OCD can manifest in basically any way. Obsessions can be anything. Compulsions can be anything. I've had highly specific and difficult to explain obsessions and similarly weird compulsions. As long as you've got the obsession-compulsion cycle, you can kinda do anything with the specifics of it.
I'd also love to see more of Ed's OCD being messy, because OCD very rarely manifests in a person appearing perfectly put together (does not mean he can't be fancy - i literally have trouble going outside if I'm not wearing makeup or dressed "well enough" and for me that is an OCD thing). Let him realize he's thinking irrationally but not being able to stop worrying. Let him be negatively affected by his OCD. There's so many possibilities!! Give his OCD some flavorrrr !!
I'm genuinely a bit surprised that his OCD isn't focused on more in scriddler content since OCD is pretty much a fear based disorder. Don't you think someone with such a condition would interest Jonathan? Probably in a professional psychology sense at first, but anyway.
