Here it is, I wrote the piece for @alittlegreenraccoon!! Your prompts were all so fun wazzle, I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to write because I was given such great options to choose from and it all pretty perfectly lined up with my own headcanons lol. I'm sooo so happy you enjoyed the fic, it's one I ended up being pretty proud of and I'm so excited to publicly share it now!

It's a post shadow 05 fic where Shadow is struggling to find his place in a world that doesn't need him to save it. Oh, and of course, he has a HUGE crush on Sonic after all that they've been through:

soap & gaz definitely just hang around you, asking you for advice on the best stretches for their tight hamstrings. or lie that they’re cramping up in the middle of a game and only you can get that knot in their thigh out.

soap is shameless and lets out guttural groans and moans as you tend to him. gaz grunts and tries to flirt with you through clenched teeth and you just shush him and tell him to count. price tries to tell you how to do your job and you trigger press on one of the knots in his calf to shut him up. ghost is completely quiet, for the most part. but he does let out a small giggle when you press your elbow to his glute to relieve his hip pain…

Y'all remember the EverymanHYBRID minecraft level? What, you don't? You don't remember that HABIT from legendary 2010-2018 Slenderman webseries/ARG EverymanHYBRID canonically made and shared a minecraft level that had a hidden code? In 2011? Not ringing a bell? Weird.

Anyway, I think it's hilarious that this exists. The recorded playthrough I ran into when I got into EMH wasn't that helpful, so I downloaded the level and a beta version of Minecraft, and recorded a playthrough for the benefit of other fans. It's real short. It's very 2011. Enjoy!

There's a central gameplay mechanic that keeps drifting, like, visually out of focus. There are ways to reign in the focus but they involve trial-and-error on things totally unrelated to the main gameplay loop, or maybe with significant debuffs. Certain zones or arcs of the game or enemies involve new challenges, like inverted controls or distracting animations.
