I’ve been unemployed for nearly 19 weeks now due to the economic fallout caused by the reaction to the *UNSPECIFIED VIRUS FROM UNKNOWN ORIGINS*. Let me tell ya, being unemployed sucks, however, one of the fringe benefits it comes with, if you’re a gamer like me, is that you’ve got all the time you want to play games! One of the games I’ve put an appalling amount of time into over the last few months is Battletech, a turn-based strategy game where you customize a lance of gigantic battle mechs, not to mention your own small team of pilots (light-RPG style). I love strategy games which provide a good challenge, and this one bent me over the kitchen table and had its way with my newbie ass until I finally learned how to control each battlefield with patience, attention to detail and careful tactical execution. Mechwarrior is a series that has been around since the 80′s and I remember playing at least one of them as a kid, and although I had fun with it I honestly can't remember which one it was. Regardless, this is a franchise with an unbelievably deep lore, solid overall gameplay, and this title had a soundtrack created by Jon Everist. This composer uses synth and live orchestra to produce music that could easily belong in an intense TV show or film, and it definitely added to the depth of an already immersive experience. If you’re into games with heavy customization options and light role-playing elements, I would most certainly recommend you smash play and then purchase a copy complete with all the expansions. Right below are a few screenshots I took in-game. Enjoy!
Two new guns, a sniper and a makeshift Uzi, along with clothing options.
This time we have images focusing more on the actual gameplay bits present, and to come!
"Forklifts Dungeon" (W.I.P. Spawn point)
A small, yet detailed, soon-to-be spawn point in the mountain tops.
Arsenal
An Avali in full heavy armor weilding a AH Fenrir while standing infront of armored rovers.
Colorvali NPC
NPC Interaction with the Colorvali, an NPC who allows you to customize your Avali to make them how you like!
The game is a Open World, Light RPG about Avali created by Ban Betrayed and inspired by ryuujinZERO's Avali and Todd's Avali Lore Guide, on Roblox.

OMG, I love your Avalis design! They look so incredibly silly.
