So for a while now I was working on my summoner OCs again and playing with a theme that's near and dear to my heart: Pop Idol alts. The theme held a lot of impact to two of the summoners in particular in pioneering a lot of their design decisions, and I thought it'll go well with the yearly theme of some flavor of dancer/performer/entertainer alt banner.
And then Real Life Issues crashed in with all the subtlety of a truck ramming through the wall, so instead of do the aforementioned alts for the aforementioned two I meant, I did this instead.
One of these days I'll get back to the earlier two and flesh out these two alts with them, but until then is a lot of catching up to do, so here's these nerds instead.

Since the festival emphasized on how the crowns were made by loved ones of the wearer gets gifted with to wear over the course of the festival, the thought came up of the sheer combination of flowers Erin’s Lif and Kyo and Eclair’s Lifonse wore in comparison to the Lif duo-paired with Thrasir or the OG Alfonse who went off with Bruno.
For Lif, his crown consisted of a lot of different varieties of flowers each as an addition for every support he got, all woven into the same crown. Even if all his spouses love each other equally, they knew how much weight the festival had on him for sentimental reasons, so his crown had the most love poured into it collectively (even incorporating flowers from their home countries like Nifl or both Hoshido and Nohr...) compared to them all farting about with less crowded arrangements for the others. For how deep the Day of Devotion meant to Lif, elements of the Askran variant for the holiday were later incorporated in Lif’s and Erin’s wedding alts alongside Nifl (compared to Ryoma and Camilla who had two alts, one like this, the other more Hoshidan-based).
For Lifonse, not only did he carry the same sentimental weight as Lif, but it also brought about another big step for him. Due to his disfigurements, there was the added insecurities brought about of him exposing himself too much and making his curse much more outwardly known. It was only due to his supports that he eased into enough level of comfort not to try to make efforts to hide himself, let alone skip such an important festival he once loved, all while Eclair and Kyo in particular had showered him in love (and Kyo behaved himself and not be stinky for the most part).
To go one step further, Kyo went all out. He left no summoner un-harased and no pokemon un-rattled to go through all manner of effort to find various very significant flowers to craft an arrangement with a lot of meaning: Gracideas were easy to come by thanks to Papri and Teru, but he also picked the amahibisc arumganium (the meganium blossom) for rejuvenated spirits, fairy flowers (floette and flabebe’s favorites) to enhance the blessings of the whole boquet, and finished off with a shiny variant of the maiden’s crown/garland (lilligant’s garlands, also sometimes nicknamed the “ficklelily” for its overly difficult way of cultivating them) whose rarity, difficult-to-find-or-cultivate bloom is a testament to how much Lifonse was worth hell to love and treasure and totally isn’t shiny due to Kyo cheating with his powers to get one on such short notice.
