1ST BRIEF: FEEDBACK BEFORE XMAS HOLIDAYS
+ clear idea
+ presentation: organised, loud/easy to understand, good development, included feedback and solution
+ good work on layouts
+ good photography
- completely rework branding
- put a title on the book
- add more concrete examples on the blog (ex: gorilla gardening, trees on wheels, etc)
- look into adding costs and more specific specs on parks in the book
1ST BRIEF: MAKING THE BOOK
i decided to make a japanese stab stitch hand bound book
TUTORIAL HERE
it looks more raw and organic, so i think it will fit the theme of a park project well
i have all the pages laid out and ready, and i have all the materials i need to do the binding and stitching, i just need to get the pages of the book printed! the day before the project is due!!! :(
wish i hadn't put that off, but i have an excuse i guess? (i'm sick, really, i swear)
1ST BRIEF: PROGRESS AND FEEDBACK
i gave a short presentation about the progress of my project on friday. i still have a lot to do, but the feedback was useful to help me finish my project in the right way.
the deliverables i want to produce are:
- a model (i need to make it better than i had planned, make it more professional, use better materials, make multiple park possiblities)
- a book about the park (specifics of the park i focused on, process recorded)
- a book about pocket parks (a kind of manual/instruction booklet for pocket parks, the "ikea" of pocket parks)
- the blog [+book to showcase the blog]
