12. Have you noticed and short term and long term language learning benefits?

I think learning Chinese and sticking for it for so long has shown me that I can be consistent with goals that I have and that’s been good to know :)) 

Also to add - dreaming in another language has been really cool so I’ll consider that a benefit lol

13. What are your language learning goals?

For 2019 my goal is to speak more Chinese. I recorded myself speaking Chinese for the first time ever in Feb (I spoke for over 3 mins total!) so I’m really happy to keep on practicing! 

14. Do you prefer learning alone or in a group? 

Alone! I’m an independent learner so I do everything alone :) I hate group work lol

4. favourite dish specific for your country?

I’m running out of dishes! Okay, I like pizza crunchies? That’s half a pizza that’s been deep fried. I’m really, truly not proud of it.

19. Do you like your country’s flag and/or emblem? What about the National Anthem?

It’s a pretty nice flag.  Our national anthem is beautiful, but I honestly think our current political, environmental and social situation doesn’t do justice to any of them. But like out anthem says: your children, who adore you, neither fear to fight, nor flee from death itself. We’ll never give up the fight to make Brazil a better place.

My favorite part of our anthem (translated):
