The best thing about being a historian...
One of the best things about being a historian, especially someone who studies family history, is looking at all of the unique names parents gave their children hundreds of years ago.
For instance, today I ran across a family with a daughter named Lieuntha Day (born October 1865 in Huntington Indiana). What an interesting name. I tried to research the name to see if it had any special meaning. As far as I could conclude, there has only been one Lieuntha in all of history. Other interesting names I've come across recently include: Jinsey, Cloena, and Ozro.
