âHi!âÂ
The woman knelt down, not minding the mud. She reached out to give the Pokemon a few pats.Â
âWould you like a bean?â
( plot with @aether-florie )
Two people dressed in business attire sat down across from the woman theyâd requested Aether to allow them to borrow. They were currently in an Eberstark Industries owned building. The interior was clean and tidy, other employees wandering around or performing tasks. Aside from all the hustle and bustle however, the trio sat inside a glass cubicle. In a group of chairs situated around a small round table sat a woman dressed in a grey skirt, pantyhose and a white dress shirt and her superior, a man with a fancy curl of hair atop his head. His hair was dark, his eyes gazing plainly at the woman from Aether. He sat crossed legged in a nice suit, gesturing to the crystal tiered bowl of berries before them.
âPlease, help yourself to some berries if you wish,â He offered her a chuckle. âSurely a berry expert finds them tasty?â

â...?!â
Even before heâd finished talking, when he mentioned that she didnât know what Kirynn was, she flinched. It was true: Kirynn was someone new in Katherineâs life. Looker had told her a bit about her, though, he never mentioned what Kirynn had told Katherine-- yet another person who refused to tell her everything-- and as far as Katherine was concerned, Kirynn didnât have a reason to lie to her. To make up accusations, did she? Was it possible that... Kirynn had simply told Katherine those things in hopes she would confront Colress about them? Was she trying-- trying to pull them apart? She felt nauseous again. And with Colress turned around and walking away, she couldâve easily done the same. Hell, she felt like she needed to.Â
She stood there, silent, horrified at herself. Katherine prided herself to be someone who thought about others, and took them into consideration, but she hadnât even thought that, maybe others werenât comfortable sharing what their past was like. Unlike her, maybe others werenât okay with the idea of spewing it all out to anyone who might listen. Just because she may have worn her heart on her sleeve didnât mean everyone else did. And it was a good thing, too-- imagine a world full of Katherines. People who jump to conclusions, believe almost anything theyâre told. She placed a hand on her arm and continued to stand. She wasnât waiting for attention-- she just honestly didnât know what to do next. And based on how it worked out last time she simply did without thinking, Katherine really wanted to weigh her options before moving a muscle.
Then there was the subject of River. The poor Espurr, he didnât deserve to be in the middle of their argument. And he was a Psychic-type, Katherine could only imagine that he mustâve felt their emotions tenfold. Why was it always Katherine asking questions and mucking things up? She swore to herself she would get her jaw wired shut. At least she wouldnât be able to do this anymore-- this was hell.
âA-at the least... I can help find River.âÂ
She took a few steps toward him, following him more or less; whether that was stupid or smart she would find out in a minute.
âSo-- then-- Kirynn... lied? Wh-why, why would she do that?â
Katherine probably sounded like a small child. But she was naive. She believed that if someone told you something, it was likely true. She saw no reason for Kirynn to lie to her-- as she would extend the same courtesy to her-- and yet, Colress had painted a very different picture. Part of her was relieved-- she knew Colress wasnât cruel. She knew it and yet--... But the majority of her was a amalgam of other mixed feelings. Anger-- both toward herself and Kirynn, if what Colress had said was true-- sadness, that this situation had even happened-- and above all, confusion. She still never got a solid answer from either Kirynn or Colress regarding their past work relation. Or was that a fabricated lie, also, Kirynn?Â
As she took shaky steps forward in an attempt to be of some use, she realized just how weak she was without someone to tell her it would be alright. Just how weak she was when not even Colress was available to help her. Still, she accepted this. Katherine had, for better or worse, opened up a can of worms and she would see it through to the end on her own, no matter how she felt internally. Even if she just wanted to cry out of frustration, sweep this entire conversation under the rug and apologize to Colress. She refused to allow her emotions to dictate how this ended. After all, bad times, are simply just times that are bad.Â

Ed stumbles back trying not to put too much weight on his foot. It fucking hurts. With the press of a button, his iron rod crackles to life with electricity.
âYou dumb bird, youâve got nothing against my invention,â Ed suddenly wore an eerie grin, âBut perhaps youâre interested in becoming a science project?â

@achromio-prado liked for a starter.
âThank you for coming to see me today, agent.â
Looker sat down in a chair that was apart of an outside cafe, having removed his long trench and rolled up the sleeves to his white collared shirt. He peered at Achromio before looking briefly at his menu, deciding he would order an iced tea. Sweet, of course.
âI hope our beloved organization hasnât been overworking you.â He chuckled, offering the other a grin.
@truthfullyideal liked for a starter.
It was night time in Alola, around eight oâclock. Katherine was training with her newly evolved Garchomp somewhere in the wilderness, which left Looker to his own devices.Â
The perfect time for a much needed date.
Elbows on the table, hands folded and his chin resting on his knuckles, his coffee remain untouched when the waitress brought it over. With an intense, studious stare he sat across from his acquaintance, unblinking as he searched the other man for signs of nervousness. All the files were freshly read in Lookerâs head, all the information he had personally gathered. Finally, he began to make his coffeeâ two packets of sugar, one cup of cream. Looker was not going to attempt to drink horrendously bitter coffee just to make himself seem like a badass in front of the scientist. They both knew what the other was capable of. Why make a show?â more than Looker was already making, that is.
The older man put the warm mug to his lips, taking a sip of coffee before finally addressing the other.
âDoctor AchromaâŚÂ what am I ever going to do with you?â
@kirynn from this
âI am glad that I was able to help you recover. But-- enough about that. Colressâs... lady friend? Oh-- oh. Yes, she does live next to me. And yes, I have met her before. Funny story about that, actually...â
He put his hands behind his head with a sheepish grin.
âIâve known her ever since she was six!â
