there is a library where i like to do most of my school work, since it has lots of windows and high ceilings and is generally unpopulated. beneath this library there is a cafe-type-thing. this is a pretty hip cafe-type-thing, particularly by cornell standards. there is a boy who works there and i think that he is the cutest damn thing, but i probably dislike him. everyone that works at the cafe-type-thing is way hipper than i am, they are all very pretty and they spend most of their time at work adjusting their ripped tights, discussing tune-yards and sometimes other subjects (ironically). but this boy knows how to foam soy milk and he has a friendly smile, so i will pretend that it's not ironic and that maybe we would not hate each other and that maybe we would even really like each other.
