A once promising student of Zula Silverthorne, now twisted into a lichen lich under Zuggtmoy.

Born and raised in Port Nyanzaru, Storm had an average life growing up with his many siblings and his parents.  He was around the age of 8 when he discovered his knack for nature magic.  Soon his parents seeked out the help of the Emerald Enclave to help with training their son.  From there he was paired up with the archdruid Zula Siverthorne to train with.

They would spend many years together traveling the Sword Coast where Zula proved to be a wonderful teacher and a “mother” of sorts.  However things started to change when one day while travelling to the Underdark that the pair got separated during the Rage of Demons where the demon lords were unleashed into the Underdark.  Storm unfortunately became infected with spores from Zuggtmoy and soon fell under her influence and aided her in her devious plans.  Zula would soon discover this and a fight would ensue where she was unable to deal a fatal blow to her student and he escaped from the Underdark.

Now under the influence of the Lady of Rot, Storm began to scheme on how to destroy the Emerald Enclave and to figure out a way to bring Zuggtmoy back to the Material Plane once more.  He however ran into issues with Zula being a witness and potentially exposing his plot to the Emerald Enclave, he feared this greatly.  While the tabaxi had his own evidence that Zula was actually part of a Drow house he knew it would not be enough to expose Zula.  From here he knew what he had to do: kill Zula.

With the help of another of Zula’s students, Xyriel, he ambushed Zula and her new student Esmeray in the middle of the night one evening.  Esmeray escaped thanks to Zula’s quick thinking but in turn she was slain by the two druids after a fight ensued.  Storm from there made Zula’s body into a spore servant for his Lady to now have a physical form on the Material Plane for the time being.  

Storm felt some guilt over his actions but wanted the pain to be gone for good, he wanted more power and he was going to find that.  It was during a visit to Candlekeep that he found out about Xanthoria the druid and seeked her advice.  From there he learned from her how to achieve lichdom via her methods and in a twisted manner, made Xyriel his living phylactery to ensure that he could never be defeated.  He would then go on to seek any of Zula’s remaining students and slain them to make sure no one could stop him.  Only one remained at the time, Esmeray Von Drex.
