Feature Friday: Fully Functional
The wearable equipment system was finally wrapped up and made fully functional this week! It took quite a bit of work, and a little bit of fiddling with some old testing code, but it shouldn’t break anymore.
I haven’t tested it in Networking however, so once I start messing with RPCs (to minimize network load) It’ll probably do something wacky like equipping all character’s armor to the client character and not the network ones.
However! This is a big step which paves the way for creation of additional armorsets and weaponry, as well as differing character models!
Mythical Monday resumes next week, and I’ve got some ideas rolling around. We’ll see what comes of it!
