#library support

I literally just visited my library to return a book and grab a new one. In my mind that was only going to take 5 minutes or less, instead the librarian (who turned out to be a girl I graduated with in HS) and I spend half an hour talking about college and the books we've read since graduation, plus our opinions on them.

You can now print the posters with a WHITE background. Haha. I recently just realized that colored backgrounds can suck b/c they eat all the ink. So you can now print them in ink friendly format. Or you can stick with the ink eaters. :)

HELLO LIBARYLOVERS! I am very proud to say that my website is up, and I am now actively launching a library revolution! 

Which is to say that libraries don’t nearly get the amount of love or respect they deserve so I’m going to do something about it. Well, not just me. Lots of people. I’m just the conduit-that crazy librarylover who’s determined to see justice done to the library. (Because, yeah, I’m in love 💜 with the library. And yes, that’s totally legit-don’t ever say someone can’t fall in love with a building.)

So what’s at this website? Well, all those library posters for one thing. And the Mrs. Awe library short stories.

 (Yes, the main character is an axe-wielding LIBRARIAN who has to take on all the library dissers. I couldn’t help myself. #sorrynotsorry) And yes they’re all FREE.

There’s also a LIBRARY WARRIOR REGISTER that you can join if you want to show your library support. And I have a page set up for library activities. B/c I’m trying to revitalize the library hashtags so we’ll be doing big things with that. There’s also contests with PRIZES. 

So we’re going to be doing lots of fun, cool stuff to get the library the attention it needs. We’ll be showing library workers some love, tweeting, YouTubing, posting, whatevering to get notice, and we’re even going to pull a Maggie Stiefvater and put our posters and stories under people’s windshields b/c WHY NOT? (FYI Maggie’s a YA author. I will plug her here if you so wish to check her out @maggie-stiefvater)
