hi! I'm sorry this is so random, but I was scrolling through the kobo tag in case anyone on Tumblr mentioned they had one since I'm thinking of buying one and I saw that you have a libra colour! would you mind telling me your thoughts on it's note taking features and size (I'm a literature major, so those are the things I'm really interested in)? I'm mostly considering it as an aid for reading academic texts and annotating them because it's easier on my eyes, but I haven't had an ereader in more than a decade, so the market is baffling to me. again, sorry for the super spontaneous ask!
First, if you're going to annotate or take notes, you have to buy the stylus. I have the official kobo one, but I know there's cheaper ones that are compatible. The stylus will magnetize to the space by the buttons or on the other side on the side of the kobo. On top of being able to write and highlight whatever you're are reading, there is a note section. Plus, with the libra color, since it is color, if you like to color code, you can change the color of the note-taking and highlighting. For me, it is easier on my eyes, especially compared to a phone or a computer, but also you can change the font to any font and size so even compared to a regular texted book i think it better for long reading. Lastly, I think the size is great, not too large, but still not super tiny. A big thing I did before I got mine was to watch videos (YouTube or tiktok if you have it) and people show all the features and also compare it to other e readers. I hope I was helpful.
