Lost in a Cave Simulator devlog 1
So, I guess I've actually made enough progress for my first devlog. (Like I'm honestly surprised.)
I guess I'll start off with what I'm making. Lost in a Cave Simulator is a text adventure, psychological horror game, where the main catch is that you sorta have to make notes to complete the game. That's about all I can say without spoiling anything.
So, my progress. Due to how LiaCS is a text adventure game, I'm actually able to do playtesting without any code (a D&D campaign), and so far, I've found that one part of the game (at the very beginning) isn't exactly fun, but I think I've come up with a solution. I found a way to incorporate the more interesting part of the game into it, and once Saturday rolls around (if everything goes well) I'll be able to see if it works.
Another thing I noticed is that navigating the cave is kinda uninteresting, so to combat that I'm going to try adding more points of interest around the map.
Anyways, I don't really have any sort of playable version that accurately represents what I'm going for. So for now... uhh... idk.
