“It went great!” she nodded, giving him a thumbs up before letting out a chuckle. Tons of people missed the showcase but she didn’t really care much for it. She knew how busy he was with all the schedules and going to the showcase was probably the least thing he could prioritize. “That’s okay! you were busy. I don’t want you overworking yourself and having to think about our showcase.” 

Tzuyu has always been a bit of anincurable romantic – with a dash of pessimism sprinkled in, probably comingfrom how huge of an issue abandonment is for her: so far, most of the peopleshe’s been truly attached to have ended up leaving her behind, and it’s alwaysthere in the back of her head, that at some point, everyone will. As such, she’sdone her best, at all times, to hold back from actually developing feelings forpeople, no matter what kind offeelings they are, but she fails miserably every time. She gets attachedeasily, in spite of her best efforts, and when she does, it’s sometimesborderline obsessive: she’s possessive and jealous even of her friends, even ifshe tries to hide it, and when it comes to her boyfriend, it goes entirelyoverboard, to the point where the smallest mischievous comment is enough torile her up. Like many of those that don’t feel like they’re entirely deservingof the love they receive, she tends to be as selfless as it gets in herrelationships with friends, so that, even when something they do or say reallyupsets her, she’s always going to try to keep it in, keep it hidden, so thatthey don’t have a reason to follow an already familiar pattern and leave her.

   ‘Oh this?’ she asked, fingertips pressing against the skin of her wrist. ‘Well, it’s one of those fake tattoos, the ones you apply with water, you know what I mean right?’ she asked, showing off the cat on her wrist a bit more. ‘Want me to give you one too, I have a ton of them in my backpack, I thought it was a fun idea to get some but I got a little too excited and bought too many.’ 

“There’sno such thing as too loud... so long as it’s actually good music.” She nodded,thoughtfully, lips pursing together into a little pout – though it wasn’t outof any kind of actual displeasure, no. It was simply the expression she automaticallyreverted to when she was thinking. “Then again, I can warn you from now, themoment you’re going to start playing something that I don’t like, I willcomplain about the assault against my poor, sensitive eardrums. But, of course,since this information is confidential, you’re not allowed to make use of itlater on… so you can’t call me out on being sneaky.”
