► –––– . . . the first time he ever sees jake get angry, subin is at a loss for words. they've been friends for awhile now, subin would even venture to say that they've become - .. best friends? for what it's worth. jake has an uncanny patience to deal with his temper and subin feels a lot more comfortable around him than most. it's quite possibly one of the first times he's ever felt the desire to lay down his arms in front of someone else aside his friends from jeju and god knows he hasn't seen them in way too long.
seeing jake like this tears him up a little, though. it's the first time that he's seen him this frustrated, and even though his best friend told him that he has a temper too, subin thought it might have just been meant to comfort him. in this position, he has no idea how to make jake feel better.
the only thing he can think of to do is distract him.
it's quick. he doesn't wait to calculate the risk or anything else, all he can think of is getting jake to chill out for a minute. so without even thinking, he leans in and presses a kiss to his cheek, too close to the corner of his lips and pulls away just as quickly.
well. now it's just an oh shit moment.
