LFW AW16, what you need to know about the show invite trends

We all have that one friend who puts us to shame. She’s got a killer wardrobe, she’s a machine in the gym, she manages to have a career, socialise AND look utterly fabulous, oh and she’s super organised. Sound familiar ? That “one friend” for me happens to be my 40 something Auntie (Nors), who is both mine and my mum’s BFFL and also my fashion mummy. A few weeks ago she came and met me at Little H in Fulham (which you should all try if you like health), with a copy of Brent Luvas’    Street Style: An Ethnography of Fashion Blogging and a large brown envelope full of all our LFW invites from February. You’re probably wondering why she was giving me these, surely we both have gotten over the buzz of the shows by now? But i’m strange and wanted to keep them as a souvenir, which seems very lame but going to the shows is such a privilege it feels silly not to. After a smoothie and some lemon possum cake, Auntie Nors suggested that I “do something” with the invites, she’s normally right about most things. So that brings me to todays topic of conversation (after a very long winded introduction), LFW AW16 invite trends…3 months after the shows.
