Lewey was in need of reassurance, but reassurance that came with a dash of reality. Something his Papa was better at giving than his Dad. Not wanting to be overheard by his siblings, he ventured to the Radio Tower while his Papa's show was on. His sister who worked in part at the tower was currently visiting Auntie Bee to have her on the podcast.
He let Ombre know of his arrival and waited for a commercial to greet his Papa.
After a hug and a kiss on the cheek in greeting, he mentally debated how to explain his current crisis. Not one to beat around the bush, he went straight to his point, "Papa...do you think I'm too cold?"
Ombre greeted Lewey with a hug and helped him silently through the door and to the sitting area that looked a tad out of place as it was the twinâs âhot tea spillâ area for when they had special guests Alastor didnât trust alone with them. It was super comfortable though.
Alastor was nearing the end stretch of his broadcast when Ombre came to let him know Lewey was there to talk, he looked over to his son and waved before holding up three fingers, asking for three minutes to finish the skit he was doing. The Radio Demon didnât often play commercials, he had no need to as the Queen of Hell he had all the riches he could desire, but he did have a few on hand that were more-so favors than paid promotions. Advertisements for Charlieâs hotel, Huskâs casino, Rosieâs Emporium, IMP (mostly there to piss Satan off after he had his ruling overturned), Lulu World, Ozzieâs, and an open invite to Beeâs party that night (never time-sensitive).
He loaded them in to play and as soon as the On Air light was off, he got up to go to his son, hugging him and kissing his cheek as well. âAh Lewey, mon loulou, itâs been ages since youâve some see papa do his passion project~â He commented warmly before Lewey cut to the point of his visit and Alastor couldnât help but chuckle lightly. âCold? No, I think youâre just right⌠And a bit like meâor how I was before you kids, I was cold. I would make people feel terrible for even speaking to me.â He admitted. âYouâre not like that, it is just that you have...a different battery, lets say. Most of our family is performers, we feed off of others paying attention to us. You feed off of time alone and enjoy having time to think, but youâre always fair.â He tried explaining.
