      ❛ accidents happen-- i had nowhere else to change. ❜     leave it to riley to spill an entire thermos of hot coffee over himself on his way home from work, with nowhere else to change but in public. he was cleaning himself off as he looked up at the other again, noticing how he was being looked at.      ❛ you really gonna stand there starin’ at my dick, dude? you gettin’ off on this or somethin’? ❜ 

     he’d been invited to the house party by his roommate, who had disappeared almost immediately after they had arrived. robin’d tried to find her because he was definitely not comfortable on his own amidst the rather drunk-looking crowd, but she seemed to have evaporated into thin air. and so robin found himself in the kitchen where it was rather quiet, refilling a glass with water from the tap.      ‘oh, i’m sorry,’ he said quietly when someone passed behind him to rummage through the fridge, making some space for him until robin was tucked in the corner of the kitchen counter. a pretty okay spot if you asked him. out of the way, easy to check on the doorways so he wouldn’t get stuck in any awkward situations, and frankly... just away from the crowd.
