🕰 + hailey!
okay so I’m going to do this 5-10 years after her last “season” which would end when she leave high school!
• Hailey moves to San Francisco with Levi, who attends the university there, and goes to a community college and gets an associates’ degree as a nurse! During that time since he is living on campus, she rooms with two other girls, Wendy and Mackenzie, and they’re all three great friends.
• after finishing school there she gets a job at a hospital in a community outside of SF working on the labor and delivery floor at nights. I think this is not something people would expect of her, especially delivering babies, but she ultimately chose this career after realizing she’s actually pretty damn good at taking care of sick and injured people and went into the specialty because she knows about the gap in women’s health, especially during labor.
• in that little in between of taking her licensing exam and starting her first job, she actually finds out that she’s pregnant! she’s not very happy about it — or happy at all, in fact — but eventually she is excited about it! this is when she and Levi have their first of four children together. It’s a girl, and they decide to name her Aurora but she is almost always just called Rory.
• She and Levi keep doing work on building a house outside of that town where they both eventually start their careers. It’s not done by the time they have Rory, but it’s done enough that they can bring her home to it. He started it on his own as a gesture to her and they work together to finish it and make it a home
• Rory’s born in January of 2020 and the next year or so after that is just spent learning how take care of a baby and to be good parents, despite not having good parents yourself...which is very difficult for both of them in different ways
• annnnd then in March of ‘21 Hailey and Levi get married! it’s a moderate sized wedding, I’d say. Small ceremony and then a big, fun party afterwards!
• Around this time Hailey makes the switch from her night time job to a day time job, still at the same hospital and floor. She loved nights (and the night time pay was nice) but days work better for their family.
• a few years later they have baby #2, which is another girl named Charlotte but again has a cute nickname (Charlie) she always goes by.
• During this time Hailey’s still mostly focusing on her career and her little family. She gets the chance to try a different specialty and spend some days in the hospital’s ER and while she likes those days, her home is still with L&D. She gets some opportunities to be in some small leadership roles, but she doesn’t go up to management yet. That might come later in life for her, I haven’t decided yet
so, probably doesn’t seem very exciting on the surface, but after her teenage years are full of so much turmoil, having a nice domestic life with a steady job and family is what she needs. and she actually loves it! she wouldn’t change anything about it.
