Levi ran his hands through his hair, shaking his head to himself. Stupid. Like they’d have seen anything other than a monster. What else would they see? It was all he was destined to be, anyway.

He just wanted to do one good thing with his life before he ended up the villain of the story that had been written for him before he’d gotten a chance to know who he even was.

He shook his head again, glancing to the hoodie that was now hanging off the side of one of the treadmills. “Dumbass.” Sighing, he laid down on the chest press machine, grabbing the weight and lifting it easily, just wanting to blow off the steam.

Couldn’t hurt anybody.

He just... couldn’t.
