Levi loves it when youāre lounging around the house wearing his shirt and sweats. You look so beautiful with your hair up and messy, not a care in the world how you look. Because youāre wearing something of his, he thinks you look like the most beautiful girl in the world.
Levi loves seeing you dress up his grey shirt when you two go out on a date. Itās baggy on you so it fits like a dress. You wear dark tights and those long black knee length boots he loves on you. Your hair and make up is done perfectly and his heart stutters in his chest the moment you step into the living room.
Levi loves it the most when all youāre wearing is his grey shirt. Youāre laying on the edge of the bed, legs wrapped around Levi, as heās standing between them. His cock thrusting in and out of you and fingers gripping your thighs hard enough to leave marks.
You go to reach for him but he smacks your hand away. āHold my shirt up, sweetheart.ā
You do as he said, holding the grey shirt just above your breasts. He hums while snatching his phone to take a video of this moment. His cock slick with your arousal as he continued to press deep inside of you. You holding up his grey shirt and your perky nipples on display.
āLook so fucking pretty like this. Gonna fuck you all the time while you wear my shirt,ā he zoomed the camera in onto your tits where the shirt piled loosely and for a brief moment thought about fucking your tits like that.

Synopsis: The two of you work together seamlessly. Your clear intimacy was usually left unspoken... that is, until Eren asks the stupid question.

Notes: I think itās funny that my last Levi fic was about Levi and reader like... hating each other hahaha. I guess I simply must bring balance
āDo you have theāā
āRight here.ā
Watching the two of you in action was fascinating.Ā
Levi tossed you a canister from over his shoulder. The metal container flipped through the air, nearly smacking Eren directly in the face. He ducked just in time. The canister landed perfectly into your outstretched hand. You didnāt even look up from the crate of supplies you were tending to. Eren sputtered.
āHey, watch it! You almost hit me!āĀ
āDonāt be in the way.ā You spoke the command in unison. Neither you nor Levi missed a beat. Eren caught a mutual eye roll as you and Levi continued to organize the new cargo shipment.Ā
You secured a thick wooden lid onto your crate and made a tick on your clipboard. You maneuvered out of the way just in time for Levi to heave over an equally massive wooden box. He stacked it on top of yours.Ā Ā
āTell me thatās all of it,ā Levi grumbled, placing a familiar touch on your shoulder as he peered over your amassment of papers. You flipped the pages with a solemn shake of your head.Ā
āBetween what we brought back from the expedition and the disaster that was this last shipment, Iād say weāre done with barely half.ā
āFucking hellā¦āĀ
Immediately after expeditions, your leftover supplies would be checked and consolidated into storage to prepare for the next outing and regular patrols. That had always been an undertaking and typically took the whole night. But when you were away, a new shipment of supplies had come early. A disorganized mess of various crates and trunks, Commander Erwin nearly hit the roof before he stormed over to the supplierās office to complain.Ā
The company had apparently shifted management, and the new owner thought he could cut corners. At least, thatās what you guessed.Ā
Levi slowly turned to Eren as you made a few frustrated scribbles in your notes. The crease in his brow deepened, and a vein above his eye twitched.Ā
āWhat are you doing just standing around, Jaeger?ā Levi stepped forward, gesturing to the chaos of stacked and scattered materials across the room. āYou think these big-ass boxes will grow legs and walk to storage by themselves?ā
āSection Commander Zacharius sent us in here to help. Heās finishing up outside.ā A bead of sweat formed on Erenās temple. Levi stared wordlessly, scowling. āSir!ā
āYou can help Jean,ā you said, glancing up from your attempt at an organization sheet. You gestured over to where Jean knelt by a mountain of wooden crates. Heavy pouches and metal parts poured out of the sprawling containers. āHeāll need all the help he can get separating the flour sacks from the deconstructed ODM gear.ā
Jean met Erenās eye, exhausted and annoyed at the prospect of working with Eren on top of his menial task. Mikasa carried three boxes stacked on top of each other somewhere in the background.Ā
The entire regiment worked into the night. Empty crates were slapped with proper labels, refilled with the correct material, and sent to storage. The rate at which you and Levi put together a plan was astounding, and you quickly ordered your exhausted soldiers around in teams to get the job done.Ā
Jean and Eren worked to separate the flour sacks from the gear, moving gingerly to avoid crushing anything. Some bags were broken. Eren blew white particles off of a grip and onto Jeanās slacks. Jean scowled but was too tired to complain. The two of them took to sorting out the pieces of gear quietly, Jean placing the parts in their respective bins as Eren sifted through the mess of metal and wires. He was left with a small box of screws at the end of his work.
āUm, do we have a box for screws?ā
āScrews?ā Jean repeated, glancing over the closed crates. āNo?ā
Eren shrugged and put them in his pocket.Ā
You and Levi continued to work seamlessly together, racing throughout the room and ensuring everything was sorted. You passed your clipboard back and forth as you elapsed each other. Eren could hardly see the handoff. He chased after you after he closed the last crate of flour.Ā
āSection Commander!ā you turned with a stack of random materials in your arms. The soldiers from your squads gathered around you, deliberating with each other over the orientation of the storage. āJean and I finished. Where else can I be of assistance?ā You handed your supplies to one of your team leaders, giving instructions before returning to Eren.Ā
āCaptain Levi has the list,ā you said, moving another set of boxes down to the floor. Your team took to opening them. You looked down and groaned at the sight, running a hand over your face. Inside, the supplier had packaged together explosives and yeast. āWhat a mess.ā
Eren ran off to find Levi, who stood in the courtyard supervising the organization of horse feed. Levi gave two firm slaps to a neat assembly of boxes as he addressed a group of six. The compilation had been mislabeled as ābread grains.ā
āYouāll take these to the stables. You hear me? The stables. If I see a lick of this shit in the kitchen, youāll eat horse food for the rest of your life.ā Eren approached him cautiously, offering him a salute.
āSir! How can I be of assistance?ā Levi huffed, blowing a tuff of his bangs away from his forehead.Ā
āI just gave the list back. Go ask the Section Commander.ā
āUhā¦ā Eren croaked, having just spoken to you. āWell, I just spoke toāā
āEren!ā Armin appeared in the doorway out to the courtyard with a wave. The torchlight made his blond hair shine even more golden. āWe need your help with the swords!āĀ
āThere you go,ā Levi snorted, gesturing down the hall where Armin disappeared. He bumped Erenās shoulder as he passed.
Luckily, things were beginning to wrap up by the time Eren nearly dropped from exhaustion. After the swords came lentils mixed with the smoke-gun pellets and then the tangled ODM wires. You and Levi were powering on at the same pace you had been for the nightā perhaps even more rigorouslyā but Eren could see the burnout on your faces. A rule of thumb whispered among the cadets dictated that the two of you appeared visibly grumpier with tiredness, not that anyone would dare tell you that.Ā
Levi maneuvered around you, snatching something you offered wordlessly in your hand. He sent off the last of the cargo boxes with a small team of drained recruits, and as he turned to you, he didnāt have to say a thing before you tossed the clipboard to him. He caught it like a frisbee.Ā
āThatāll do it,ā you announced. Your voice echoed off the stone walls of the now-empty room. āThank you, everyone, for your hard work. Iām sure youāre very tired. Dismissed!āĀ
Eren breathed a sigh of relief as you marched out of the room. He quickly took his leave, filing out with the rest of his friends as they trudged back to the barracks in exhaustion. No one said a word as they crossed through the courtyard, too drained from the expedition and the organization disaster to say anything.Ā
Eren stuck his hand in his pocket, stopping short when he felt the small box of screws he had put in there earlier. Armin shot him a worried look as he started back toward the packaging room, too fatigued to ask where he was going. Eren said nothing, jogging back so he could return as quickly as possible.Ā
You and Levi sat on the stone floor, back to back, as he read over the materials list. Your head tilted back to rest on his shoulder. He did the same, his short hairs brushing against your cheek. Two cups of tea sat on the floor next to you. That must be where you went when you dismissed everyone.
āThe twenty units of ODM wireāā
āSouthwestern storage with the grips,ā you yawned. You closed your eyes, letting yourself slouch back into Levi. He said nothing as you nuzzled into the shoulder of his jacket.
āUpdated uniforms and linensāā
āForth floor. They need to be organized, but they can be distributed soon.ā
āGreat. Like we havenāt had enough of that tonight.ā
Eren stood frozen in the entryway. He clutched the box of screws in his hand, stepping off to the side to avoid being seen. Something inside told him that he shouldnāt be there, that the scene in front of him was too intimate for his prying eyes. He watched on anyways, wondering if he should just wait until tomorrow.Ā
You finished your tea, placing it on the ground with a disappointed hum. You reached for Leviās and took it in the pads of your fingers. Levi brushed his cheek against your hair and tilted his face to look at you. He didnāt get very far with your head in the way.
āExcuse you,ā he frowned. āYou have your own.ā
āFinished mine,ā you muttered, half asleep. Levi shook his head before returning to read the rest of the list. He flipped a page.Ā
At that display, Eren decided that he could definitely wait until the next day. Stealthily, he returned to the little, lit hallway to take his leave.Ā
That was until the little box of screws clattered to the floor. The sound reverberated off the stone, causing both you and Levi to turn to the noise. You sat up straight with eyes snapped open with alertness. Eren cringed, picking up the box, and with no choice, he revealed himself.Ā
āThe hell are you doing up?ā Levi snapped with a deep scowl. āYou were just dismissed. Or do you want more work?ā Eren almost flinched.
āI forgot about this.ā He held up the forgotten cargo, giving it a rattle. You yawned again, a strangled noise of affirmation escaping you.
āOh, thank you, Jaeger. You can leave that with me.ā Eren scampered across the room to your outstretched hand. It dropped with the weight of the tiny container. With a simple thanks, you once again sent him on his way.Ā
***
āDo you think the Section Commanders are, you know, together?ā Eren asked in a hushed tone at the dinner table the next day. Arminās forehead wrinkled in thought.
āWhich ones?ā
āYours and Captain Levi.ā Eren played absentmindedly with the leftover stew on his plate. The entire table seemed to stiffen. A few nervous eyes glanced around the mess hall for any leadership within the radius to overhear. Eren hardly noticed the way the former members of the 104th seemed to lean forward.
āI think theyāre all together,ā Reiner finally spoke, eyes darting around the room again.
āWhat? You mean like all at once?ā Bertholdt laughed nervously, swiveling his head as he spoke. He rubbed at the back of his neck with his large palm.
āYeah!ā Reiner exclaimed in a hushed tone. The table leaned closer. He gestured emphatically with his hands. āI mean, youāre in this line of work. Everyoneās ripped and sexyāā
Connie let out a roaring cackle.
āYou did not just refer to Captain Levi as ripped and sexy!āĀ
Reiner sputtered as cheeky grins and bouts of laughter spread across the group. Reiner clutched the edge of the table as his pale skin turned a bright shade of red.
āYou know thatās not what I meant!ā he stammered, just about standing up to slam his hand on the table, causing various utensils to clatter. The noise was not too out of the ordinary for the cafeteria. āThatās not what I meant! I meant my squad leader!ā Connie propped an elbow on the table, counting his fingers to accent his words.Ā
āSection Commander Levi: ripped and sexy. Section Commander Miche: ripped and sexy. Section Commander Hangeāā Reiner slapped Connieās hand from across the table, causing Connie to just about go into hysterics. He collapsed into Sashaās shoulder. Bertholdt tugged the back of Reinerās shirt, urging him to sit back down.Ā
āThat is the opposite of what I meant!ā
āYou said everyone, Reiner!ā Connie had nearly burst into tears. He heaved between labored breaths. āWhatā what if theyā¦! What if they madeā Hahaha! A calendar?! What if they made one of those sexy calendars?!ā His deranged delirium was contagious, the taboo notion enough to make Mikasa cover her face with a shake of her head. She continued small bites of her food.Ā
āShirtless Levi calendar just for you, Reiner.ā He stood at a loss as Jean reached up to knock against his bicep. Reiner sat down in defeat, hands rubbing over his face as Bertholdt gave him a heavy-handed pat.Ā
āWhat made you ask, Eren?ā Christaās gentle voice somehow made it down to the other side of the table. He craned to be able to see her before looking off, wondering if he should say anything. He didnāt think for long, if at all.
āI walked in on them last nightāā An eruption of astonished gasps and cries cut him offāa jumbled chorus of sounds molded over each other.Ā
āWhoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute!ā
Sashaās voice carried over everyone elseās.Ā
āLevi and Reiner?!ā She exclaimed. Reiner somehow grew redder.Ā
āOf course not!ā
āNo, he means our captain and Levi, right Eren?ā Armin clarified, and Eren nodded.Ā
āWhen you say walked in on themāā Jean glanced around the room, eyes widening with emphasis. āDid you mean walked in on?ā
āNo, no,ā Eren stuttered, running a hand through his scalp as he thought of describing what he saw. āIād say they were more cuddling.ā
āCuddling,ā Reiner repeated with a single downward nod. He crossed his arms over his chest as he squared his shoulders back. āYou walked in on the squad leaders⦠cuddling.ā
āWell, they werenāt really cuddling. They were sitting back-to-back against each other more⦠nuzzling. And sharing a cup of tea.ā Eren trailed off, face contorted in a pained expression as he continued to play with his hair. Armin nudged him under the table, barely picking up his head to offer him the contrite look painted on his expression.Ā
āErenā¦ā
āI think itās kinda romantic!ā Christa brushed a few hairs behind her ear. āTwo soldiers fighting for their lives with no one to lean on but each other! I could see them together. Maybe Captain Levi would loosen up a bit if he was dating.ā Ymir grumbled something incoherent.Ā
āI think weāve all been in a room where Captain Leviās shared a cup of tea with all the leadership.ā Reiner glanced around the table, unimpressed. āIs that supposed to be a euphemism or something?ā
āIt was the same cup!ā
āThings sure are lively over here.ā Everyone froze. āWhat are we talking about?ā
You placed a warm hand on his shoulder. Erenās eyes followed the length of your sleeve to your smiling face. You glanced over the group, slightly taken aback at the sudden silence. Levi came up to Erenās left with crossed arms.Ā
āWe heard from everyone coming the other way that you couldnāt shut up, and now you decide to be quiet?ā Connie met Reinerās eye from across the table.
āThe calendar,ā he mouthed, and Reiner resisted the urge to throw a spoon at him.Ā
āWe were just talking about Sashaās dating life!ā Eren exclaimed, much to Sashaās horror. You beamed.
āOh, how fun!ā Levi rolled his eyes, maneuvering around you.Ā
āIām grabbing food. You want the usual?ā He leaned in slightly, a gentle touch on your back. The table watched with bated breath. You smiled and nodded.
āYes, please!ā With your confirmation, he left. You turned back to the table, your hand still on the back of Erenās chair. āDating! Thatās so exciting! You have to tell me!ā The group exchanged looks. Normally, they would tell you. That is if there was anything to tell.Ā
āAre you dating, Section Commander?ā Sasha quirked an eyebrow, hoping to turn the heat onto someone else.Ā
āOh, uhāā You stuttered, thrown off at the sudden question. You could feel the heat of their intense stares. āāNo, not really.ā You let out a nervous laugh. Surely you were missing something. You missed the silent eye contact Eren made with Armin.
āNot really?ā Eren repeated, twisting his mug in his hands as he stared at his water. Reiner studied him, wondering that perhaps Eren had been onto something after all. Mikasa kicked Eren under the table. He flinched, composing himself just before Levi returned with your food.Ā
āYou guys are sure acting strange tonight.ā Bertholdt refused to look you in the eye. You let out another nervous chuckle before taking your plate from Levi with thanks.Ā
āThey ran out of the rolls, but I got you theāā
āThe baguette?ā Your face lit up at the sight of the tiny baguette on the corner of your plate. You faced Levi with a grin. āHave I ever told you that you were the best?āĀ
āSure, sure.ā He didnāt acknowledge the rest of the 104th as he stormed toward the exit. You offered them a wave goodbye.
āSorry, we canāt stick around. Iāll see you all later! Good luck, Sasha!ā With one last wave, you hurried after Levi and left together.Ā
As soon as you were well down the hallway, the table erupted in debate.
Thank you to all who liked, reblogged, followed, and supported. Your support means so much and is greatly appreciated.

~ "I wanna make sure you're safe, okay?"
Levi kneels before you as he tightens the straps of your harness.
Deft fingers pass over the leather, slipping below the straps, testing the tension and strength of the new buckles. It isn't as if you are incapable of strapping yourself in; you have done this over a thousand times, but there is a new mechanism within the buckles that only a few people knew how to work correctly, Levi being one of them, and he was not about to risk your life over a new piece of metal.
"Levi, I think I can finish it," you offer as his hands slide toward your hips. "Just show me, and I can do it."
He shakes his head and lifts his gaze to yours. "I want to make sure they're secure."
Silver eyes bore into yours, something soft and vulnerable hidden within the cold steel. You run your fingers over his cheek, curling them behind his ear.
Levi leans into your touch, eyes slipping closed for a moment before he kisses your palm. "I wanna make sure you're safe, okay?"
His voice is so soft and small. He sounds so fragile, so human. "Okay?" he tries again, fingers tightening leather again. His cheek is still cradled in your palm, and you don't think he will move it until you answer him.
"Okay, Levi"
Levi watches as the leather snaps. Watches as you are sent hurtling toward a tree, watches as you flail in desperation before accepting defeat against gravity as you brace for impact. Levi hears you scream his name before the sound of cracking bones as you hit the thick trunk. Levi sees the blood, then your body tumbling to the ground, limp and unmoving. He's flying before he can think, your name a cry on his lips as he propels himself towards you. Trees and leaves a blur as his vision hones in on you, the entire being focused on your body, scanning for any signs of life. His feet hit the ground so hard his knees scream in pain, but he pays them no mind as he sprints towards you. There's no movement from your body, no breathing or groans of pain. You're just lying there, still and quiet, as if you were a part of the forest, as if you had always been ageless and living among the foliage but weren't living. Levi finally reaches your body, calling out to you as he turns you over, but you aren't there. There is no life behind your eyes as he calls out to others. No, this wasn't supposed to happen. This was meant to be a simple exercise; you would come back home, have dinner, and then go to bed, and everything would be okay.
"Sweetheart, you're okay; please wake up." Levi reaches out and pulls you into his lap. "Come on, you need to wake up now."
His hand strokes down your face, blood starting to drip from your nose as he pushes your hair back from your face.
"Please, love, wake up," Levi whispers, ducking his head. "I can't do this without you, please."
Levi doesn't hear as Hange approaches him, their hand on his shoulder startling him.
"Levi, they're gone," Hange whispers, kneeling beside him. "You need to let us take them, okay."
Levi shakes his head, holding you tighter as Hange tries to loosen Levi's grip. "No, they're okay, and I'm not leaving them. I can't."
"Levi, please. Let go."
"No! Just give me some time, and they'll be okay. We'll be okay, and everything will be normal. Okay?"
"Okay."
Hange nods and pulls back as Levi starts to sob. The forest is silent save for the broken cries of a man who has lost everything.
Levi startles awake. His eyes fly open as his heart pounds against his rib cage. He is in his bed, the sheets warm from the morning sun, fire dwindling to embers across the room. He reaches out, afraid to look, and finds nothing there in fear his dream is reality, but he is met with warm sheets and then the sound of clutter in the kitchenette, and his mind and heart instantly calm. Levi takes a deep breath in, the familiar scent of your perfume fills his senses, and he is calm; he is ready to face you and tell you about his nightmare.
"Sweetheart, I know you don't like hearing about them, but I had the worst dream, and I need to-"
Levi's voice fades as he sees Hange standing in the doorway, holding two cups of tea.
"I'm sorry, Levi."

PILLOW TALK WITH LEVI ACKERMAN BOOKS :
I Kuchel
II Kenny
III Hange
IV Erwin
V Farlan & Isabel
VI Mikasa
VII Eren
Right when your head hit the pillow, you looked at Levi through your locks sprinkled all over you, and asked a question that was burning your lips for the longest time.
"Levi ?"
"Hm"
"Tell me more about Kuchel"
Even if the only source of light present in the room was only a veil of moonlight, you still caught the small sparkle in Levi's eyes. It only lasted for a second before disappearing as fast as it had appeared.
He didn't look at you and kept inspecting the ceiling, his hands knitted together ontop of his chest.
"I don't remember much about her to be honest"
You listened carefully to the words your husband just uttered while hugging your pillow tightly, a habit you always did to comfort yourself.
Neither one of you ever brought this subject to the table. Levi would sometimes mention his mother when relevant to a conversation, which was once in a blue moon truly. He would never go further than saying her name or a quick fact about her, he would never open up to share much about that time. Tonight, strangely enough, your curiosity begged for a little more.
You thought Levi wanted to keep his mother's memories to himself, wanting to seal them away from everyone, including you. This made you feel like you were being denied access to an important part of his life that helped shape his being. Tonight, you understood that this was untrue.
He didn't want to keep his mother a secret from you, he just didn't have enough to tell you about her.
"Was she...kind ?" You asked, tugging at the delicate silk covering your pillow, a bit hesitant to look him in the eyes, since you felt this was a touchy subject.
"I guess she was, i don't recall her being disgraceful or violent towards me. Even when she was at her lowest, she always looked after me."
"I think i would have appreciated her a lot" You whispered to the pillow.
Levi hummed in response. He was never one to talk much, not in all that time spent at the military and not even after you two confessed your feelings to each other and decided to settle down together. Getting him to talk about his feelings was like extracting diamonds out of a mine. Difficult but very rewarding.
"Why do you ask about her now ?"
The question caught you off guard.
You wanted to know what kind of person he grew up next to, when exactly did he raise this wall so high that even you, his wife, could not break through it sometimes.
It wasn't that Levi wasn't open with you, you're probably the only person he opens up to the most and the only person he allows to peek into his vulnerability.
You asking about his mother was completely genuine, you thought that getting him to talk about his mother would somehow get you closer to him and vice versa. You loved Levi so much you always searched for ways to get more entangled with him, be it through his past, the present or both of your futures. You thought digging out this piece that belonged to his past would make him truly yours, as silly as this might sound.
You tried to paint a face, tried to imagine what his mother would have looked like. What Kuchel would have looked like. You imagined her sharing the same thin eyebrows as her only son, the same delicate features adorning her face. You guessed he inherited his dark hair from her, imagining her brushing her long black locks.
For some reason, you imagined her doing that alone, in the corner of a gloomy bedroom is some abandoned brothel. Your heart scrunched at the thought. Levi being brought to life in such an environment made you sad, resentful, even.
He deserved better.
What did his father look like ? Did he get his short stature from him ? His uncle Kenny was tall, so maybe Kuchel was too. Was his father nothing more than a āclientā to his mother ? Is that all he was ? A fleeting person that appeared out of nowhere and left behind him the most valuable human being inside the walls ?
For a second, you felt hatred and disgust for his progenitor. You hugged your pillow even harder, refraining to share that feeling with Levi.
Your mind even wondered to the night (or day) Levi was conceived in before you forced your mind to go back to more proper thoughts.
This man, so strong and respectable, had an inexplicably hard life. Sometimes you were in pure admiration of how he got himself out of the gutter. This man could have gone so wrong but somehow decided not to.
You wondered If Kuchel was still alive, how your life would have been different. Would you and Levi go visit her at her home, somewhere peaceful, maybe in the countryside ? Would she make you tea knowing how much her son loves it ? She'd have a special way of brewing it, just the way Levi likes it, the only way Levi likes it. She'd give you the secret to preparing the beverage because she'd want you to make your husband happy and because she apprciates you too.
For a moment, you could almost smell the scent of Kuchel's tea, feel the kitchen's air being filled with the sound of the tea brewing, you could smell the perfume in her hair as she turned around to fill your cup, of her dress's fabricā¦
You felt the weight of the mattress shift next to you, almost tearing you out of your reverie. Levi just got closer, his scent suddenly more present, you couldn't help taking it all in. Man, you loved him so much.
All those years spent together as comrades, high ranked commanders and then finally, spouses, had made you unbearably attached to the man, but more on a spiritual level. You two survived every catastrophe that was thrown your way during your service in the military, before and even after everything collapsed, this had to be a miracle.
He held you closer to him, and you took in the scent of his fabric.
"I just want to know more about you" You said softly
"I think it's better to leave the past where it is" He said before pausing.
He seemed to pounder for a moment, as if trying to find the right way to end the conversation and never have you ask about her again.
"My mother was a good woman. I loved her dearly"
You tightened your hold on him, those words moved you in ways you wouldn't be able to describe.
"I love you Levi" you said before starting to doze off slowly, peaceful with Levi's modest confession.
Asleep, you didn't feel Levi's fingers brushing your locks aside to whisper to your temple.

āWhat will you do, Erwin?ā Levi asked his commander and friend once again as they spoke in the ruins of Erenās hometown.Ā
Erwinās whole life was dedicated to finding out the truth; he was too drunk to realize that he needed to have dreams for himself, not just for humanity.Ā
āWhat will you do when this dream is all over?ā
Erwinās mind flashed to the night in the mess hall. There was something very different about you that night - a look in your eyes that he couldnāt quite lay his finger on. He remembers Hange shoving his arm with her elbow as she caught him staring.Ā
āTell them, Erwin.ā
He thought of his lifeās work, his father, and his dedication to humanity. He thought of your smile at a sandy beach, the waves moving against your bare feet. Your laughter as you walked through town, messing with Levi. Your soft lips, and the way you danced at a queenās ball. He was never the priority, even in his own life.Ā
āNo, I donāt think I will.ā
He smiled up at Levi, who was waiting for an answer.Ā
āI donāt know. It will just happen when the time comes.ā Levi let out a ātchā before speaking.Ā
āThen die. Ride out with your dream and die with it.ā
You regretted never telling him. You had worked up the courage to tell him the night before the mission to reclaim Wall Maria, but it had completely faltered the minute you laid eyes on him. And now, he was out doing god knows what right inside the walls with Levi.Ā
You had taken the gamble on you still living by the end of what would hopefully be another victory for humanity.Ā
Erwin was always known for his gambles - riding everything, the entire hope for humanity, on a gamble. They had always worked out in the end, one way or another, but the consequences were the lives of your comrades.Ā
Perhaps his devotion was just one reason why you found yourself falling for him. Perhaps it was the way his eyes shimmered on a sunny day, or maybe it was because no matter how cruel this world was, he was still the kind man you met and came to know. You would gladly follow him to the ends of the earth, and even into the unknown. His words and actions inspired you, and you trusted in him with every fiber of your being.Ā
You were dead wrong about the gamble.Ā
There were no emotions processing when you stared at the charred body of Armin. You had quickly urged Levi to take out the metal container he held in his possession.Ā
When a recruit landed with a familiar blonde on his back, you lost your mind. Your thoughts were everywhere, and you barely processed any of the words being thrown between Levi, Eren, Hange, and Mikasa. All you could focus on was the man you loved, his limp hand in yours, his breathing almost nonexistent. You studied how pale he was, how dark the circles under his eyes were, and how still he seemed to be.Ā
Who would Levi choose to save? Armin was just a kid, a incredibly intelligent one as well. He had dreams, aspirations, and friends. But... Erwin. The man you loved, the man you never told. His words inspired the hearts of all his scouts, and he was hope for humanity.Ā
Who would he have chosen? Himself?
āEveryone, leave!ā Leviās shout had phased you enough for you to come out of your thoughts. Before you knew it, you were dragged away by Jean. Behind Leviās steel eyes, you saw the pain he so desperately tried to hide from you as he watch you fly away.Ā
As you waited for a flash, your heart stayed in conflict.Ā
Within another minute, you found a blonde titan picking up Berthodlt and devouring him. Your breath caught in your throat - Levi chose Armin.Ā
You couldnāt tell if you were crushed or relieved.Ā
Immediately, you flew back to Levi and Erwin, your Captain and friend giving you a look you couldnāt quite read - even with the steel in his eyes. As he move to sit by Hange, you heard the smallest of whispers.Ā
Your heart jolted as you rushed to Erwinās side. He had been whispering your name.Ā
āCommander? Iām here. Itās me.ā You had tears already falling down your dirt-stained cheeks, and you willed yourself to not break apart - not just yet.Ā
He whispered your name again, his eyes barely fluttering open. His vision was blurry, but he could still recognize your beautiful face from anywhere. He felt your hand in his, your other cupping his face.Ā
āIt was you.ā He whispered, as a final tear fell from his ocean blue eyes.Ā
āWhat? Erwin...?ā You saw the beginning of a barely-there smile gracing his lips.Ā
āYou were my new dream.ā Your heart thudded so loudly within your chest that you thought youād explode. Tears continued to fall down your cheeks as you realized what he was saying.Ā

Levi canāt sleep at night. Given everything heās gone through, it keeps him up. Heās tried everything; tea, sleeping pills, keeping his mind and body busy all day with the hope he crashes once his head hits the pillow only for him to lie awake for hours.
He thinks itās the survivors guilt that keeps him up most nights. Why should he get to live when everyone he loves is dead and gone?
No, not everyone. He still had you.
You always had an āopen doorā policy with Levi when you moved in together. After the events of the rumbling, you knew that Levi needed someone with him to take care of him and to keep an eye on him. So you moved in together in a small cottage. That was a few weeks ago and you both were still dealing either with the aftermath of The Rumbling, you were just doing a better job at dealing with it.
Levi knew he shouldnāt bother you, this late in the evening, but he was exhausted and desperate for some kind of sleep. As he rose from his bed slowly, he grunted in pain from his injuries and began limping towards your bedroom across the hall. He got used to not being able to see out of his right eye and only having two fingers. It was the limp in his leg that continued to be a burden.
Not only were you always there to comfort him but you also took to tending his wounds. Levi never once felt like he was imposing or becoming a nuance to you because he knows how much you care for him.
Truth be told, Levi always had feelings for you but he never was one to act on it because he liked to take things slow, at his pace; especially now. You were fine waiting until he was ready to take the next step in whatever this relationship was. For now, you enjoyed the nights you two shared a bed.
Levi gently knocked on the door to your bedroom and waited for a few moments to see if youād answer. When you did, his heart studded in his chest when he saw your sleep disheveled look; hair a mess and night shirt slightly askew.
āLevi?ā You rub the sleep from your eyes so you could see him clearly. āEverything alright?ā
He rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly nervous. āCanāt sleep.ā
He didnāt need to explain why, you simply opened your bedroom door more so he could step inside. You motioned to his limp with a nod.
āBothering you?ā
He made a gruff noise in response before sitting on the edge of your bed. You never help him walk, atleast nowadays, because you knew how independent he was. In the first few days of his recovery, you pushed him around in the wheelchair and helped him to and from places.
āYouāre lucky youāre cute, Levi. I was having a wonderful dream before you woke me,ā you teased while climbing into bed next to him.
You always made sure to lay on his right side so he could see you.
He let out a soft chuckle before carefully climbing underneath the covers with you. āOh yeah, what about?ā
āOh just this gorgeous man with grey eyes and a sharp cheekbones. He has kind of an attitude though. Mostly for others. But not for me,ā you sighed dreamily while hugging your pillow close to your chest.
āMust be some guy. Sorry about that.ā
You winked. āThe real guy is much better if I do say so.ā
A warm blush covered Leviās face as he made himself comfortable. Silence fell in the room as you both lay there staring into the darkness, the only sliver of light coming from the moonlight outside of your window. Levi looked breathtaking in it even with his scars. You knew he was self conscious about it especially the ones on his face. But you made sure to let him know how gorgeous he looked with them by kissing them any chance he would let you.
āWhat was it this time keeping you awake?ā You asked after a while of silence.
Levi sighed, scratching at his chest. āI think itās my bed. I canāt get comfortable.ā
āIāve told you, Levi. Youāre always welcome to sleep in mine. You never have to ask,ā you reminded him.
The corner of his lip turned up in a weak smile. āI know. I just feel terrible that I keep imposing on you.ā
You rested a hand over his on his chest causing him to look down at you. āYou never do. As much as I love helping you recover, I also love being close to you.ā
You both liked each other, there wasnāt any hidden feelings. But again, you wanted to give Levi as much time as he needed. You were fine with taking things at his pace.
With his good hand, Levi squeezed yours. āI know. Iāve done things on my own for so long that I donāt know how to not feel like a burden.ā
āYouāre not,ā you kissed his shoulder, the material of his shirt making your lips warm. āPlus, it helps that youāre so warm.ā
Levi chuckled, a sound that warmed your heart, and gently turned on his side, back facing you. You snuggled up into his back to wrap your arm around him then left a kiss on his back.
āI still canāt believe you like being the little spoon,ā you giggled.
Levi physically relaxed in your embrace, you could feel all the tension leave his body which made you hold him even tighter. You knew things werenāt going to be easy but you made a promise to him that you would never give up on him.
āIf you tell anyone,ā Levi grumbled.
āYouāll have to kill me. I know, I know.ā
Snuggling up closer into his back, he grabbed your hand to leave soft kisses along your knuckles. āThank you, sweetheart.ā
āYou never have to thank me, Levi. Now, get some sleep.ā
He did, like always whenever he was in your arms. Levi always slept the safest and soundest with you holding him.
Most of the time, it's not even in a sexual way. More so in a you're still here, alive and with him sort of way. He's lost almost everyone important to him so he's afraid he's going to wake up one day and you'll be gone.
At first, he was hesitant to touch you because he knows you weren't big on it unless it was while the two of you were having sex. But one day, you noticed he was struggling with something and when you asked him what was wrong, he laid it all out for you.
"Sometimes, I worry if you're actually here with me or if I'm imagining it."
So that's when you told him if he ever starts to question it, to touch you no matter where the two of you are.
At the market while you're buying fresh produce and flowers, Levi's hand is on the small of your back.
On a walk in the late evening, letting the chilly air pull you closer to him so Levi could wrap his arm around you.
While the two of you are laying on the couch together, both of you reading your books, his legs are across your lap and your running your fingers up and down his ankle.
In the kitchen as you're making dinner, Levi is right there helping you, all the while his hand brushes across yours as he reaches over you to grab something.
During morning teatime when you're sitting on the outdoor chair swing, his head in your lap, as you run your fingers through his hair.
In bed, when both of you are asleep, he knows you don't like to be touched at all because you run warm while you sleep. So he gently brushes his feet against yours.
When he wakes up in the morning, the first thing he does is pull back the blankets you insist on sleeping underneath to make sure you're still there. He'll brush a finger over your cheek and feel the tightness around his heart lessen as your snoring fills the air.
Every time he feels your skin on his, your warmth filing him, Levi knows that you're there and nothing will ever change that.
Itās at first a hushed whisper that you didnāt hear him at first, too blissed out by his cock that pounded in and out of you. Your bodies were slick with sweat as he hoisted your hips up on the air, him kneeling behind you, and squeezed the round of your ass as he went deeper.
āYour cunt feels so good,ā Levi pants, breathless.
His jaw is tense as heās trying hard not to cum yet but having you this way feels too good. He knew though if he continued this way, heād fill you up to quickly so he pulled out momentarily to flip you onto your back.
āLevi,ā you whined, reaching for his chest to drag your nails over it. āSo good.ā
He nods, dragging his nose along your jawline to breath you in as he slipped back inside of you. āI know, baby. But I want to look at you when we cum, understand?ā
His hips rocked into yours, the sound of skin on skin echoing in your bedroom. Levi linked hands with you and pinned them above your head then dipped his head low to nip and suck on the sweet spot of your neck.
āLove you,ā he breathed into your skin.
āHmm?ā You mumbled, unable to speak as your orgasm began to burn low in your cut.
Levi kisses along your jawline up to your lips as he mumbles against them. āI-I love you.ā
It was hard for him to say, this unknown feeling building slowly over the time you two were together. But here now, both of you connected in the most intimate way with his eyes locked in on yours, Levi says it more proudly.
āI love you, baby girl,ā he proclaims while thrusting into you. āSo fucking much.ā
Tears well in your eyes not only from how good his cock feels but at hearing he loves you. For a while now, you knew you loved him but didnāt want to be the first one to utter those words because you knew how long it takes Levi to show his feelings. You didnāt want to pressure him so you decided to let him say it first.
Since your hands were still bound by his above your head, you lifted your chin so you could brush your lips over his again.
āI love you too, Levi.ā
āFuck,ā he grunted, pace now erratic as he began chasing his orgasm that was so close to spilling over. āIāll love you to the end of my days, hear me? Itās me and you till the end.ā
You agreed with a passionate kiss and soon fell over into euphoria with him.
