Done and done! “Lorem Ipsum,” white oak, oil finish. 7’ long x 21" wide X 17" tall. All the joinery and shaping was done by hand. The top was left textured from a round-bottom coopering plane. Thanks for following everybody!

Hopefully you can kind of see it in this extra-fancy black and white picture. The idea was that it wouldn’t really change the overall design of the bench, but it would be really nice to run your fingers over when you sat on it.

Lots of work from one of my all-time favorite makers, a Prussian gentleman named Johann Michael Jahn.
