So, what was my experience with this game, the game was a remake of Pokemon Yellow for the GAMEBOY, but that didnt stopped Nintendo, and GAME FREAK to make it even more that is similar to what started the anime series in April Fools Day of 1997 starring Ash Ketchum, so what is the plot of this game, the game is Like what the anime has started like when you start your journey when you make and name a trainer and his rival what you like, then it's what you need to catch, one version is with Pikachu and Eevee, i liked the scene where Pikachu has smelled trainer's hand after being caught, not even to one scene that Ash Ketchum first met pikachu and then got zapped. So i approve the scene, another compliment i want to give is where you can play with your Pokemon Partner, same as a Virtual Pet. (i have Pikachu version), pet, tickle, and especially feed him, it feels like i have a virtual pet/best friend. if this game is called Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, why not we change it to My Friend: Pikachu/Eevee, then you start your first battle with a rival to begin your journey. Then, beginning your journey at the gym, this is a big respect to those who wrote the scenario of this game the first Gym Leader and you know who is? You guessed it! Brock! The same character from the anime, you beat the gym leader, you earned yourself a badge, then you continue the journey and then go to the Gym leader, and then you meet, Misty! When i first saw Misty as a gym leader, i was like, (Oh My God! Is that Misty from the first season of the Pokemon Anime?! I bet the pokeshippers will scream for excitement for having misty as the gym leader), and then you earned yourself a 2nd badge for beating a gym leader and then continue your journey, and what's so interesting is that you beat team rocket! While not similar being blasted off to sky in the anime, but in this game, they blast off by running away. When you go to a 3rd gym, you wonder who would the 3rd gym leader, if you think that May from the Advance Season is the 3rd gym leader? Then you've been mistaken, the gym leader is a very hard one who has a raichu, the evolution grown Pikachu. you battle harder with this gym leader even i did (i decided to use a special move from Pikachu that will defeat Raichu), also similar to an anime. And then you earned yourself a 3rd badge. And then continue your journey, whenever you need to rest your pokemon, as always go to Pokemon Center, where nurse joy can rest your pokemon, that didn't cost any kind of money, but to buy medicines, pokeballs, and X Attacks and Defense can cost money, when you continue journey, as always can catch a lot of Pokemon just to complete Pokedex full of Pokemons in the data and then, when you completely caught all of the Pokemon, you receive a diploma for catching all of the Pokemon and completing the whole pokedex, This can be called the main calling card of GAME FREAK. there's another option to take the pokemon out of the pokeball to travel it, which can be good to travel your journey together, when a pokemon goes up a level, it can learn a different of skills, but one option is that one old skill should be forgotten and replaced with a new skill. And when you add your pokemon to your pokeball plus controller like Pikachu, this is like having a best friend on the go, and you'll be like "Hey guys, say hi to my little friend" they might be amazed if they hear a pikachu sound. The sounds are very well done by Ikue Otani as usual. Those are compliments.
To the criticisms, there's only one criticism i want to address is that you can't play one the controller, the only things you can play is on the two joysticks, and a pokeball plus controller, that's it! No criticisms,
Verdict: Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee despite it's mixed feelings from the gamers and positive reviews from the critics. It's a bright and new experience traveling through the Kanto region. The game has taken risks with changing a lot of the original formula in this game but it has paid off. I'll give it an 8 out of 10.
Final Verdict - 8/10
