In my 14 years of doing these things, this is... this might actually be the worst year for KH news ever lmao. It's bare bones!!!!!!!!!!

-KH3 manga finishes in Japan (Yen Press apparently lost the English rights so the KH3 manga is actually incomplete in English, physically at least.)

-Utada releases an EP of Electricity remixes

-Utada performs both First Love and Mine or Yours on "The First Take"

-Mine or Yours music video is released

-May 14 .... Missing Link is Cancelled. Fucking hate it here!!!!! Square Enix does damage control by releasing 7 new KH4 images.

-David Gallagher, Riku's English voice actor is the Hero of the fandom, by streaming the KH games for the first time (igobygraven on twitch/youtube). He just finished Re:Com and will start KH2 in January 2026.

-Utada joins Kenshi Yonezu for the theme song for the Chainsaw Man movie, "JANE DOE".

Kingdom Hearts 2 is going to be 20 years old in exactly one month!! (December 22, 2005 in Japan).

Like with kh3, you had to catch up with Days, BBS, 3D, 0.2 and part of KHUX but with kh4...it's basically just KHUX and DR? Missing Link got canned and we only got like 10 minutes of info from it really. Which most likely will be re-vamped or not used.

KHUX you can find the plot on youtube (I believe everglow did a really good video, and there's a fandub out there too? Dark Road isn't totally all that important in the grand scheme of things I guess, it's just more context with Xehanort. Like the upperclassmen have like very little characterization so aside from the Murder thing you aren't missing much on that end. Most important I guess is the MoM parts.

Also Back Cover movie has been out for years while most probably watched? Before KH3?
