He had not expected at all to bump into Aiko, but he didn’t mind at all. Their conversation developed to be quite more interesting than he had thought at first. Azazel started order drinks too after a while, but he was slower in drowning them than Aiko was. He also wasn’t human, so of course the alcohol did not work on him the same way it worked on others.
Are you implying that I am following you around?
The thought amused him. She had been the one attacking him first, and now he should be the one seeking her company? What an interesting thought indeed.
I can assure you, as surprising as it might be, it is only a coincidence.
He saw her reaching out her hand, but because there was no knife in it he didn’t jolt back. He allowed her to place the palm of her hand against his chest, allowed her to lean closer. He knew what she was doing. Flirting was not a foreign concept to him.
Two could play that game though. He raised one hand to put it on top of hers, resting on his chest. He leaned forward a little, bringing their faces closer before he whispered back to her.
But if you don’t like our meetings being coincidences we can always make them intended.
