So I woke up to an incredible message this morning from an amazing fan who has got herself a Lethal Dose tattoo! Honestly it's amazing, and it's really refreshing and humbling to know that so many people were effected by my comic and characters so much. I've loved all the cosplay and fanart and now this... All LD fans have genuinely been incredible and I've underestimated just how much my comic has meant to you. It's inspiring and reminds me that I really need to get my ass in gear... Hope you're all well and thank you for sticking around and baring with me all this time. <3
Hi all, If anybody sees this I want to say a massive thank you for having stuck around this long, I wouldn't blame anyone for having jumped ship by now. As you're all aware I haven't been active with LD in nearly a year. I've had a lot of good intentions that have all fallen through no matter how much I have honestly wanted to carry on with Lethal Dose. Lethal Dose is definitely a project I want to finish. I think about it a lot and I feel terrible about leaving you all in the dark for so long without an official send off. Life has changed a lot in this last year. As well as starting a new relationship and moving into a new city and a new career I've opened an Etsy shop for the first time and started doing commissions as an extra way to make some money. I love doing commissions and I love working on my comic but everything is just so time consuming there's never time to do both and obviously I have to prioritise payed work. I'm not trying to make up excuses or justify my tardiness but I thought you were all owed at least this much. So I want to say a big sorry and giant thank you at the same time. You all have been constantly supportive of my work and honestly it seems crazy to me that It's been this long as I always intend to finish my work.I guess it's hard for me to accept that I won't be working on LD 'seriously' for a long while...(crazy that I'm only just getting that since it's been a year..get with the program Lauren). I feel really sad to have to give this message.Hopefully I can sort things out in the future and manage time better. Either way, I love you all and again i'm so grateful to have had you. Hopefully I will see you around, when we can all join Bobby and the gang in the future when they get their shit together too. I miss working for you guys and with everyone in the comic. Peace out for now and I'm sorry, thank you all once againx <3 x
I'm taking part in #inktober for the first time ever! (I realise you're supposed to ink but...I decided I wanted to get some practice in with my tablet as that'd be more beneficial to me.
