A/N: I needed some Lestat fluff, I love fluff and he needs some romance and affection.
You sat in the hotel room, curled up in the surprising comfortable chair next to the balcony windows, scrolling on your phone as you wait for Lestat to come back from the performance. You would have gone, but you had a headache all day that wouldnât go away. You knew the lights and the fans would make it worse, so you stayed in the hotel for the night. Â
You had also just found out about the book. Which you never really read any new books lately, so you werenât even interested in it. Until you heard the whispers of Lestat mentioned in the book. You had been reading it for the last few days between sleeping and traveling, as an eBook on your phone. You finished it two days ago... Â
You heard laughter down the hall as the sound echoed into the room, hearing doors close and steps in the hallway. Â
You paused as you heard the key card swipe on the door, and the door opening. You looked over and smiled at the sight of Lestat closing the door. He sighed but a wide smile burst onto his face as he locked eyes on you. âMy love, are you feeling better? I missed you.â He made a show of pouting as he threw his jacket off and rushed over to where you were sitting. He gripped in the arms of the chair as he leaned over to press a deep kiss on your lips. Â
You could feel your body relax into him as you cupped his face with your hands, rubbing your thumbs under his eyes, your body filling with warmth and comfort as you kissed. Every time youâve kissed, you always felt like you could do anything and that you were the center of his world. Â
You pressed a couple of chaste kisses into his lips as he smiled lovingly, pressing his forehead into yours. Â
âIâm feeling a little better, I drank some water and ate. I missed you as well, my Lion.â You smiled gently at him, staring into his eyes, as his brow softened. Â
You could see when something flashed across his thoughts as he pulled back slightly and looked at you imploringly. âSofia told me that she found out by accident that you read that book by Molloy...â He looked down before looking back at you from under his lashes. You raised an eyebrow at him as he smiled sheepishly. He straightened up and cocked his hip out, putting a hand on it. âI didnât think you read that type of garbage.â He tried to come across as nonchalant, but you could see the questions in his eyes, making you smile comfortingly. Â
You stood up and reached forward to grab his hand before pulling him to the bed. âCome, sit down. Weâll talk about it.â You had him sit down as he grew despondent. Â
âDo we have to?â He almost whined as you grinned. You knelt and took off his shoes for him, missing the loving smile that lightly grazed his lips. Â
You then climbed onto the bed and looked at him as he stared at you. You could tell he was expecting you to leave. Â
You held out your arms and made grabby hands at him. âCome here, come cuddle lovey.â Â
He sighed softly and then turned to crawl onto the bed and lay between your legs, wrapping his arms around your waist and placing his head into the crook of your neck. You ran your fingernails over his scalp softly, and your other hand was lightly rubbing his back, making him fall completely into you as he hummed softly. Â
âYou know itâs fine, Lestat. I donât mind about the other lovers or your past.â You told him in a soft-spoken tone. Â
âItâs not the whole story...â He spoke. The was a short silence before he continued. âI donât want you to be afraid of me.â He whispered out, his voice choking lightly in the middle. Â
You realized what he was talking about. The physical fight with him and Louis. âAhhhh,â you let out as you realize. You sat in silence as you thought about how you wanted to respond. âWhile I donât condone the domestic violence... youâve seemed to genuinely feel remorse for how you responded to that situation. And if what I read is even a sliver of truth to it... then youâve never really experienced a healthy relationship. You are allowed to feel how you feel about things. From what Iâve seen, thatâs not the same Lestat that I know now. Youâve never once raised a hand to me; youâve yelled yes, but Iâve never felt unsafe with you.âÂ
A silence draped over the room as you ran your fingers through his hair. You let him sit in it, letting him process your words. Â
âI love you.â He whispered out, almost brokenly as his arms tightened around your waist. His face was buried deep into your neck, ignoring the fact that tears dampened your skin. Â
You took a deep breath and pressed a kiss into his head. âI love you.â Â
You both laid there for a long while, just holding each other... existing in each other's presence, absorbing the comfort you both gave to each other. Â
Lestat pressed a gentle kiss into your neck, making you smile as you tilted your head to give him more room. He grinned and started to press kisses into every inch of your skin that he could reach; you started to giggle softly. Â
You turned your head and pressed a deep kiss into his lips, pulling him close to you. Pouring every emotion you felt for him into that kiss, before pulling back to look into his eyes. His face was softened into a deep admiration of you before leaning forward to start pressing a soft kiss into his lips again. He leaned into it. Â
You pulled back and then pressed a kiss into each of his cheeks, his nose, his chin, under his eyes, his forehead, his temple, his eyelids. Â
His eyes were closed, taking in the affection you gave him. A loving smile was dancing across his lips.Â
