The Radio Dept. - Lesser Matters (2003). Incredible sounding band on the albums. It all started with this dreamy shoegazing sound of their debut. To this day they pretty much stand on their signature sound and being successful at it too. However, I saw them few years back at a small venue and their live shows just didn't bring out the sound or atmosphere their album usually generates. Some bands are meant for studio sounds rather than live...I can't say if that's bad or good.
