Hi my name is Cassidy and the bird is Polly (super original). Polly is an eight year old Lesser Jardine Parrot (some know them as red-fronted parrots) who has been rehomed four times, I recently got her last august and since then we’ve become very close. I am a high school student and due to boredom and my love of animal accounts, I thought it would be fun to make one for Polly. Polly is a very unique bird, she has her ups and downs and due to all her rehoming she does have a lot of behavior problems. I’ve found out she prefers men and hates strangers, but has made some friends. She was originally supposed to be a breeding bird but, from what I was told, the breeder decided to stop breeding Jardines and sold her. She’s very picky and possessive, but I love her with all my heart.
